Gable box

I tried this tutorial on Splitcoast and made a couple of gable boxes for Valentines Day. The size is really nice to put a few cookies in. I used pink pirouette and riding hood red card stock. The Love You much bundle is fun to play with....and of course I had to add some of those crochet Fleurettes to both boxes. I wish I new how to crochet! I saw someone had made a bunch of flowers and were selling them on Ebay. They are so pretty. My mom tried to teach me when I was little, but I wasn't very good at it. She tried to teach me alot of things {sewing, piano, etc} ...the only thing that really stuck was cooking! I was always in the kitchen, usually baking. Anyway, I really like these boxes so I will be making more of them!

Those turned out so cute! I can't crochet either. But all in all, I'd say it's better to cook than crochet if I had to pick one! Can't wait to see what else you come up with!
