Urban Garden Boxes

Isn't this a sweet box? I have never made a 2-5-7-10 box before. I have seen them all over the blogs and splitcoast of course, but never tried one. I love making boxes and this was fun to decorate with the SU Lots of Tags die cuts and Simple Flower embosslits. I don't have a Big Shot but I used my Cuttle bug. The die cuts work with a B plate on the bottom and one on the top. The embosslits use an A plate,B plate, embosslit, then B plate. So far it's worked fine. I haven't tried a XL die yet but I read you could use 4 B plates, 2 on the bottom and 2 on the top. It may leave a little fold where the plates meet, though. Anyway, this looks more like a bag than a box now, but it starts out like a box first. You just push the sides in and fold over the flap. So cute!

I love the center of your flowers. So pretty! You are making me add this little embosslit to my wish list. Seeing something made with them in real life....this project is so great! I love it.

Before I got my Big shot I used my cuttlebug too. You can use just 2 b plates and sandwich the XL die between it and it worked for me just fine!! The only thing you can't use with the cuttlebug is the extended dies they are two wide. I love your boxes. I ordered that embosslit and can't wait until my order gets here on Thursday! I ordered the Seriff Essentials Big Letters, I am so excited, that was my Valentines present from my DH. Your work is awesome as usual. Didn't you tell me you weren't a demonstrator? Girl, you should be if your not!! Now is a GREAT time! TTYL!
