Less is More...flourish

Flourishes? I wasn't sure I had any!

But that's what the challenge said on "More is Less"...a one layer card using a flourish.

Luckily, I found a whole packet of them. I forgot I bought it at a garage sale last summer, just in case I ever needed them.

I inked up a block with Bermuda Bay ink, then used black ink on top to stamp the flourish. I added the sentiment in black form Hero Arts. Then I decided to add one pearl.

So glad I bought those flourishes last summer, I just knew I needed them!

  4. Very elegant. Love the sentiment sitting further up the card. I tend to put them along the bottom but this looks fab. x

  5. I think what I love most about this card is the way you created a colour block, and then stamped something bigger than the block, so it kind of explodes out of it. Gives a great sense of movement to the card.
