Paper Players...beach theme challenge

I'm so excited, as today is my first time as a guest designer for Paper Players!

It's so much fun to stamp with such a great team. AND I couldn't be happier that the first challenge is a "let's go to the beach" theme. Sea shells are definitely what I think of when I think of the beach!

I really got into this and decided to make a card set of four.

Here are the other three:

I used SU's "Hardwood" stamp and pool party ink for the background. The shells are stamped in brown sugar from" By the Seashore." The sentiments are also SU, from "Endless Birthday Wishes." I used white textured card stock, along with some pool party and brown sugar. I love those colors together!

Be sure to check out all the other cards over at paper players!

I couldn't wait to see what you came up with for your beachy theme, and I wasn't disappointed! What beauties these are, especially with that portion of the hardwood stamp in the background! Clever!

Not one, but an entire set of cards, Laurie! I'm very impressed! They are all so pretty. I love how you stamped just a portion of the hardwood background stamp, and all the clean white space. I'm so thrilled to have you on our team at The Paper Players!

Would have never thought to use Hardwood in this theme, but it works beautifully! Great job!

Oh my, Laurie these are fabulous! The colors, the fussy-cutting and the clever use of just a portion of the Hardwood stamp is genius. Love it all! Delighted to have you as a GD for us at The Paper Players!

Laurie, I love the use of the wood grain as a background. It really helps to anchor your beautiful shells. I also love the "white space" that you have left to allow us to really focus on the elements. So glad you joined us as a GD
