Paper Players let it snow....

Happy Sunday!

This week LeAnne has this fun sketch for the challenge at The Paper Players:

I decided to turn the sketch and used some of my hoarded SU "All is Calm" designer paper. I just love it, and they only have 2 sheets in each pack. I like the other sheets, too, but not as much as this one. I even ordered another pack....primarily for just those 2 sheets! I know, I'm crazy!

I used my Lil inker stitched rectangles, and my friend's Lawn fawn snowflake dies.

FYI... you can make more sizes of the stitched rectangles and squares by cutting out a smaller rectangle shape, then using a larger die to cut off an end. Here's a photo of what I did, except I used the designer paper piece, and made it smaller. Excuse my messy plates...and these are new ones even! Needless to say, I go through quite a few...

The sentiment is from Penny Black,"Wonderful and Jolly".... I LOVE this set. I found it a few weeks ago at our local craft store. It was one of those I just couldn't pass up!

It's all adhered to a piece of SU's Blue lagoon card stock, another favorite of mine.

Head on over to The Paper Players and play along!

Gorgeous card Laurie! I love everything about it. The color combination is phenomenal with the calm blues and pop of red in the center of the snowflakes!

I love this paper too...and the snowflakes....and the sentiment! Shoot, I love it all! And what a great tip about shortening the rectangles! I do that all the time with my other dies but I didn't think it would work with the stitched ones...can't wait to try it myself!

One reason why I only get digi papers is so I get to print off as many as I like! I would be such a paper hoarder other wise. These designs are rather lovely mind you. Hugs Mrs A.

Wonderful card Laurie! The colors and the stitched snowflakes are terrific.

I've been tempted several times to buy more paper for one or two sheets. If you love it, it makes perfect sense.

What a gorgeous card Laurie - the snowflakes and sentiment look great with the stitched background panels and the snowflake-swirled paper. This is my favourite All Is Calm DSP too - and bought a second pack just for those 2 sheets!!
