Memory Box Stitched Pumpkins

Hi everyone!

The challenge this week at The Paper Players is this fun sketch from Claire:

I decided to go Halloween.
I dug out some washi...I always forget I have it, and it's so fun to use!
I put some on my rich razzleberry MFT stitched rectangle and also my smokey slate Lil Inker stitched tag.

The stitched pumpkins are my favorite fall die....they're from Memory Box.
I actually had to buy two sets...I lost the pumpkin tops! They are so tiny, I doubt I will ever find them. So I went ahead and bought another one. Works great...now I can cut out 6 pumpkins at a time instead of 3! I used Memory Box Whimsical Flourish to cut out some curly vines for the larger pumpkin. The larger black stitched flourish is from MFT.  The face on the pumpkin is stamped in black from Stampin U's Pumpkin Patch. LOVE that set and will never part with it! The sentiment is also from Stampin Up.... Teeny Tiny Wishes. I added some enamel dots and sequins to finish off the card.

I sure had lots of fun making a Halloween card for this challenge! Head on over to The Paper Players if you would like to play along!

Paper: SU rich razzleberry, pumpkin pie, white, smokey slate, old olive, black
Ink: SU black
Stamps: SU Pumpkin Patch, teeny tiny wishes

Laurie, this is just fantastic! I just love Halloween cards and this one makes me smile! I LOL about your die cuts. I adore Rich Razzleberry and it looks amazing for Halloween! I have had to buy some of my sets over because I misplaced parts of them or maybe even threw them away! ugggg. I try to be more careful now, but the pieces are tiny! Thank you for rocking my sketch challenge this week! XX

Love your happy pumpkin Halloween card Laurie - such fun! Great use of the black due cut piece to echo the shape of the pumpkin stems (this reminds me of my pumpkin patch which is a mass of runners at the moment!) Love the black lace-pattern trim across the bottom too - it looks like a row of tiny cobwebs lol!

OH HOW CUTE!!! Love these little stitched punkins...and I can see why you might have lost the tops, but I bet you do find them!! Meanwhile, I love the the other stitched pieces as well as that great lacy piece and cute polka dot washi (at least I think it's washi!). Great creation!
