Cheery Lynn Arizona Cowboy

Hi everyone!

I'm excited to share this card today, as I had SO much fun making it for my daughter!

I was out and about shopping one day and saw these sweet boot dies from Cheery Lynn and had to have them.... my daughter just bought the cutest pair of boots in Cheyenne, and I thought they would make some great cards for her.
They kind of remind me of Pioneer Women,too, which is one of my favorite shows. Her recipes are out of this world good! My favorite are her maple glazed cinnamon rolls...you can find that recipe here.

Here's some I made:

They are truly amazing, and make a HUGE batch, enough to share with friends and family. I get hungry just thinking about how good they are!

SO...I thought the boots would work well for the sketch this week from LeAnne at The Paper Players;

.

I began with some favorite colors of mine, coastal cabana, brown sugar, chocolate chip and melon mambo. I made my three banners with MFT's pierced banner dies. I added a Lil Inker stitched circle, and then the fun began. I cut out several boots from Cheery Lynn's Arizona Cowboy and inlaid the tiny pieces. I added some jewels and the adhered them onto my circle. I thought it would be fun to add the horse shoes to the banners, and also a rope above the boots.... made of twine. The sentiment from SU's Bootiful Ocasions was just perfect for my cute little" bootday" card.

You can check out what the rest of the design team did with this fun sketch here, and play along!

Paper: SU white, coastal cabana, chocolate chip. brown sugar, and.

Ink: SU black
Stamps: SU Bootiful Occasions

Dies: MFT pierced banners, lilinker stitched circles, Cheery Lynn Arizone Cowboy

Other: twine, jewels

Oh my, when I saw this card, my JAW DROPPED! How incredible are these boots...not to mention the "matching" horseshoes! I might have to look for this die myself (I swear, you are SUCH an enabler!) as I have several line dancers in my family, as well as a few that are just plain country! This is just stunning, you did a terrific job! Thanks for making my sketch look GREAT!
