Happy Wonderful Christmas!

Hi everyone!

Oh my..... it was cold out today!
It was supposed to snow, but it never did, just some rain. I stayed inside for most of the day, making Christmas cards. I need a ton this year, as I plan to give one to each resident at the assisted living home where I volunteer. I want each one to be different....so I won't be doing any mass producing.

When I made this, I had one particular resident in mind...she loves lavender!

I used my Penny Black swirl wreath again, in white this time, and added a few tiny lavender pearls and some evergreens. I tied on a thin silver cord bow.

The sentiment is from Stampin Up called." Wondrous Wreath." It's a favorite of mine, I love the font, and it's a bit different then the usual Merry Christmas. Christmas time IS so wonderful...our Savior was born!

I hope the resident I made this card for will like it!

I'm entering this at:

Love that wreath and the addition of the two trees is perfect. I love your style. Would you mind if I cased some of your cards? I would give you credit and post a link to your blog.

By the way it is so kind of you to volunteer at the assisted living and to think of them.

What a sweetheart you are in making cards for the residents! My mom volunteers at a seniors' residence and I do my best to make cards for as many people there as possible. You're like me: avoiding mass producing (although I sometimes work in sets of three, with slight twists on each, as my cards have to do some 'traveling' before they reach their destination, meaning everything has to be done earlier). Your card, featuring the lovely wreath and lavender trees, is stunning; the resident will love it, as do I! Thank you for sharing your *anything goes with silver' creativity in the Inkspirational gallery!
