Penny Black Holy Night

Hi everyone!

This week it's my turn to hostess the challenge at The Paper Players:

I chose Clean and Simple, using a sentiment as your focal point. One of my favorite stamp companies is Penny Black. I LOVE their sentiment stamps, and have started collecting them. There's just something about the fonts they use that I really like. I chose this sentiment from their set called, "Holy Night."

I stamped it in black, and then made a frame for it with MFT's In and Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangles. I tucked a Memory Box pine branch border inside and added a few stars, and a bakers twine bow.

Be sure to check out the rest of the design team here:

I hope you will join us!

Gorgeous Laurie - this is one of my favourite Christmas carols and I am already thinking about a fabulous rendition of it that I heard at a performance I attended this Christmas just gone. I'm not surprised you've started a collection - sentiments like this one make a card!
