The challenge this week at Less is More is a one layer card with spots and stripes. One layer cards are always tricky to do,and not my favorite, but I figured I had the time, I'd give it a try.
This is what I came up with.
Where are the stripes you ask? Well, if you look VERY closely around the tiny pearls on the flip flops you will see tiny stripes going around the center.
Just in case that wasn't enough stripes, I did this one too. I changed to another shoe instead of the flip flop.
Then I noticed some scraps laying there, so I put this card together with the leftovers. It is NOT one layer, but I thought I'd show you anyway!
Have a great day!
Paper: SU pool party white and calypso coral
Ink: SU black, copic markers
Stamps: Hero arts shoes, Rupa Shevde Retro Boutique, Penny BlackWords express
Other, SU stripes folder, Michael's dollar bin pearls, bakers twine, score pal,

Great set of cards. Love the shoes and think your scored lines on the first one count as stripes.
ReplyDeleteThese are clever Laurie, great way to interpret the theme and love the bright colour combos too :0)
