Mojo Monday

I tried another Mojo Monday sketch...these are kind of addicting! Here's what the sketch looks like:

Here's another view of my card. I'm really having trouble with taking photos...the colors on the card are certainly celery, bashful blue, and chocolate chip, but I think the chocolate chip looks almost black instead of brown. Lighting here in Minnesota has been pretty grey with all the snow and that doesn't help. I'm thinking of getting one of those photo light boxes and see if that helps. I read on splitcoast you could find them at Wally's...and also on Ebay. I may try looking for one this weekend.
Anyway...I love the stamp set I used for this card! I borrowed "Branch Out" from a friend, but I need to get one myself. I think this tree is awesome and I love the little tire swing. It would be great for all four seasons...I plan to try a fall card soon. This card uses alot of my favorites... the GORGEOUS ribbon, the scallop eyelet punch, the button latte flower...and three of my favorite colors.

Don't forget to check out all the cards for this sketch here!

  1. Oh, this card is perfect. I love the colors together. This set is adorable. I think the possibilities for all season are endless, and that's a huge appeal! Can't wait to see what else you make with it. And I agree that following some of these sketches does get to be addicting.

  2. This card is just beautiful!!! I am ordering this set as one of my SAB freebies and I can't wait!!

My DH gave me a photo light box for Christmas, and I LOVE it. He also gave me an Ott lamp to go with it. It provides natural lighting (like daylight) and I think it helps a lot with colors, etc.

You have really been busy since the last time I was here, and I just LOVE all of your projects. What a wonderful source of inspiration your blog is!!

  5. The colors look good to me! You can also make a photo box out out white foam board. I have one that my husband bought. I just got better lights for it, so I hope it improves my photos!

The card is neat. I love that set!
