The challenge this week at less is more is a one layer Hearts card. While I have a ton of stamps, I really don't have many Valentine sets, or even heart stamps really.
Hmmmmm......an excuse to shop!
But instead of shopping, I dug out SU's retired, old, but tried and true Sketch It set. I've made many cards with the heart from this set! I love it's simplicity.
I added a small coastal cabana heart.... cut from SU's Fashionable Hearts embosslit. I put a SU jewel in the middle of it and adhered it to the large heart that I stamped in SU real red. The sentiment is from SU's Teeny Tiny Wishes, stamped in black.
You can check out the other cards in the challenge here!
Laurie, Such a pretty card! Thanks for sharing it! I'm going to case it since I haven't used Sketch It in ages. Had actually forgot that I had it until you posted this! Again, tks!

Wow this is so beautiful and I love the colour combo
ReplyDeleteUnlike you, I have a ton of heart stamps....but I never use them. I love this "brush" heart...and love how you've accented it with that darling contrasting button...I think that's my new favorite color combination.
ReplyDeleteI still have this stamp too! I love that your card is aqua on the inside - a great way to subtly add colour!
ReplyDeleteLove your sketchy heart and fab colour combo. Would never think to put these two together but they go so well.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty card! I love the sketched style of the heart and the one sweet little button! Fun idea to put the color on the inside, too...very clever!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely super card Laurie!
ReplyDeleteLove that hint of blue!
Thanks so much
Chrissie
