Buttons

One of my fave blogs is Nichole Heady. She had an awesome idea of making a stamp set to go with buttons. http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2009/07/introducing-everyday-button-bits.html It gave me a few ideas of what I could do with my SU stamps I already have. Here's my take on the cherries using the tart and tangy set. I'm working on a few other button ideas and will post them soon.

I'm really into buttons lately. I have all the SU ones and now I'm into Nichole's. I have my order almost ready to go. My friend Rebecca did a color comparison for me here. http://thereisastampforthat.blogspot.com/2009/05/button-button-who-has-button.html I wanted to know which ones would go with my SU paper. Thanks Rebecca, it really helped! One can never have too many buttons!

Paper: tart and tangy, real red. bashful blue

Ink: black, old olive

Stamps: tart and tangy

Other: bashful blue ribbon, buttons,

I love the idea of using stamp sets you already have!!! I'm going to have to look at mine differently now! And I am glad you were able to use the color comparison. I do love the PTI buttons. They are so fun to play with!
