Masking tape technique, Stampin Up lovely as a tree

A few weeks ago I was really making masking tape cards like crazy.
It was so much fun!

I forgot to post these, so I thought I'd share them today. I used SU's lovely as a tree stamp set, and various shades of green inks. I started with glossy white paper, inked up the masking tape, put it where I wanted color, rubbed it down and pulled it off. Then I stamped the trees and sentiment with black stazon.

I made a ton of cards. It's so easy and very addicting, after making one you just keep on going....it's too fun!

Where are the directions for this fabulous card?

For the masking tape technique, you put ink on the masking tape, lay it down on glossy white paper, smooth the tape down and then pull off. Once it dries stamp your image with black stazon ink.

hope that helps, laurie

Just saw your masking technique. Looks so easy. I love this card. You said you put on glossy paper. Does it really only work well on glossy?
