Lawn Fawn's Float My Boat

Hi everyone!

I have a Birthday card to share with you today..I made it for a couple of challenges:

Mod Squad Challenge Blog

I used a BUNCH of dies for this one! I'll list them all below.

I also used Lawn Fawn's Float My Boat stamps. I haven't used that set for ages, it was fun to get it out and ink it up again. I stamped the sentiment on the banner....the clear stamps made it easy to arrange and stamp on the curve. Inside the card I stamped, Have a Happy Birthday!

Happy 2nd anniversary to The Card Concept!

It's time to celebrate!

It's our 2nd year anniversary at The Card Concept

This was my first year on the design team, and I have had SO much fun. I LOVE to browse the gallery and see all the wonderful cards everyone makes with the latest challenge. Thanks to Lesley for all the work she does, and to the rest of the DT for all the awesome inspiration each and every challenge!

Here's the inspiration photo:

I focused in on the colors first, then added flowers, pearls and print to my card.

I started out with the Pretty Print embossing folder from Sizzix, using SU's very vanilla paper. I also cut out some flowers from Poppystamps Petal Ribbon die. I used black for the sentiment from Cherry Lyn and also for the Poppystamps Heart Swoosh.

I hope you will celebrate with us and join in the challenge!

Poppystamps Noel Snowflake

Hi everyone!
It's been such a long time since I've had a chance to play at Merry Monday, one of my fave Christmas card challenges!
Bonnie is the host this week and she chose Christmas carols:

Well.... I LOVE so many Christmas songs that is was hard to choose, but I ended up with The First Noel.

As usual, I used several dies for this card:

The pierced squares are from My Favorite Things. I cut the 2 wreaths out with Memory Box in SU's
Old Olive. The snowflake and sentiment are from Poppystamps Noel Snowflake, and I cut it apart to use it here. (The snowflake actually hangs down from the word Noel.) The bow at the top is from Penny Black.

The Paper Players sketch challenge....Memory Box Birthday Cake

 Happy Easter!

Today's challenge at The Paper Players is this sketch from LeAnne:

I turned the sketch around and made a birthday card:

My 3 strips of paper are from Stampin' Up's Cherry On Top. Love that stuff!
I made a medallion with SU's star burst dies and a Memory Box Quinn Flourish. In it's center is a sweet lil slice of cake made with Memory Box Let Them Eat Cake die. The sentiment is from Penny Black's Sprinkles and Smiles. I added a few enamel dots, too.

A Christmas card....on EASTER!!

Happy Easter!

Even though it IS Easter Sunday, I'm sharing a Christmas card!

 LOL!

I had a lot of fun with the colors and made a basket of Poinsettia's. I backed it on a LIl Inker tag, and adhered that to Taylored Expressions cutting plate. Behind it all is a piece of Stampin Up Christmas designer paper. I added a few sequins and pearls, too.

If you would like to get a head start on your Christmas cards, head on over to the Christmas Card Challenge and join us!

Taylored Expressions Big Bold Easter

I'm still having fun with Easter cards!
Yesterday I posted a card I made with My Favorite Things snowdrift cutting plate, and I have another today.

It's kind of an addicting die! There are so many ways to use it, and also a great way to use up all that designer paper. That's what I did!
I used some plaid paper from MFT's subtle plaids pack.

The bunny is a die from Jillian Vance, I sure have been getting lots of use out of it! This time I just put a tail on the back, with a bit of wink. The sentiment is stamped in black from Taylored Expressions Big Bold Easter onto a My Favorite Things zig zag stitched circle.

This was a fun card to make! I'm entering this at:

I'm back with another Easter card....this one has lots of layers!

I used My Favorite things snow drifts cutting plate for the background. The designer paper is from Stampin' Up called Cherry On Top.

I cut out a cute bunny from Jillian Vance, and added a lil inker sun.
