The Card Concept #41

Hi everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at  The Card Concept:

I was inspired by the white pumpkins and the background!

This was a hard one for me.... I like color, or at least a pop of color!
In fact I did add a bit of green:

If you follow my blog you have been seeing alot of these stitched pumpkins from Memory Box! I love them!
I adhered them onto a Lil Inker stitched tag stamped with SU's hardwood background. I added a few greens and cat tails since I needed a bit of color! LOL! The sentiment is an oldie form SU's" Take Care."

Warm Wishes

Over at SIP the challenge is "card makers choice."

SIP Any Challenge 16 800

That sounded fun!
My favorite cards to make are Christmas, maybe because I like the colors red and green, I'm not sure. My new favorite Christmas paper is SU's Merry Moments. I love the stamp set "Winter Wishes", from SU's holiday mini. I also love my Memory Box poinsettia dies. I used the smaller one here:

Off to make a few more cards...have a great day!

Memory Box Stitched Pumpkins

Hi everyone!

The challenge this week at The Paper Players is this fun sketch from Claire:

I decided to go Halloween.
I dug out some washi...I always forget I have it, and it's so fun to use!
I put some on my rich razzleberry MFT stitched rectangle and also my smokey slate Lil Inker stitched tag.

The stitched pumpkins are my favorite fall die....they're from Memory Box.
I actually had to buy two sets...I lost the pumpkin tops! They are so tiny, I doubt I will ever find them. So I went ahead and bought another one. Works I can cut out 6 pumpkins at a time instead of 3! I used Memory Box Whimsical Flourish to cut out some curly vines for the larger pumpkin. The larger black stitched flourish is from MFT.  The face on the pumpkin is stamped in black from Stampin U's Pumpkin Patch. LOVE that set and will never part with it! The sentiment is also from Stampin Up.... Teeny Tiny Wishes. I added some enamel dots and sequins to finish off the card.

I sure had lots of fun making a Halloween card for this challenge! Head on over to The Paper Players if you would like to play along!

Impression Obsession Swirl Tree

Hi everyone!

I'm trying so hard not to buy a pumpkin yet. They are everywhere!  If I buy one too early it often spoils, though. So I really need to wait a bit yet. I guess I will just have to make do with some paper pumpkins.....I made a tiny one for this Halloween card.
I think he looks cute next to the spooky tree!

The Card Concept

Hi everyone!

Today is a new challenge over at The Card Concept:

I was inspired by the tiny tree and little deer. So cute!

He reminded me of the Taylored Expression "Fawn" die I have, so I cut one out in SU's baked brown sugar. Since coastal cabana is my favorite color (so sad it retired) I decided to use some from my stash for the background and also cut out a couple of trees with Impression Obsession "evergreens."

I used white for the rest of the card.
For the snow I used my Lawn Fawn "stitched hillside border" dies and adhered on some glitter from Stampin Up. I love how it sparkles! The background trees were from a new die I have from Poppy stamps called," Forest Village." I've been using it alot lately!

I added a few Lil Inker "stitched snowflakes" and a border from Impression Obsession. The sentiment is an old one from Angel Company..."tag tidbits." I use it ALL the time and will never part with it. The sentiments fit so well on so many projects. Besides, I love anything tiny!!!

Be sure to head over to The Card Concept and play along!!!

Poppy Stamps Forest Village Halloween card

Hi everyone!

It's my turn to be hostess this week at The Paper Players!  I chose "create a fall scene."

I decided to create a clean and simple Halloween scene with Poppy Stamps Forest Village .
I added a Lil Inker orange circle for the moon in the background and a few Martha Stewart punched bats. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

A bit of Wink in the windows and trees and the card was done!
