Sympathy card

Today I have a sympathy card to share with you, actually a pretty simple one at that!

I scored the card at the sides, added a panel with the Memory Box fern and a sentiment from Many Mini's.

Have a great weekend everybody!

Sweet Sunday challenge

One more challenge..this time for Sweet Sunday:

I used Lawn Fawn's paper and sentiment, and the stitched rectangles and sun from Lil inker for this cheerful card!

I turned the sketch on it's side, if you are wondering. First glance I suppose you may think, "What?"

It just worked better that way for me!

Have a great day!

Hurry....gotta enter a few challenges

Just in time to enter a few challenges with this card!

Over at Card Concept:

ANYTHING GOES

ANYTHING GOES

I made this card with Lawn Fawns stitched journal cards and Lil inkers stitched rectangles. The center sentiment is popped up and is from SU's Amazing Birthday. I also tied some bakers twine on top.
I am a big fan of these colors...they look so crisp and cool together.

Be sure to check out the other cards! Lots of inspiration!

Merry Monday.....Birthday card

This week at Merry Monday its Birthday cards for LeAnne!

Happy Birthday Leanne!

For this card I used SU's daisy die, little leaves, and sentiment from Simply Sketched. The flourish is from Memory Box. I dug into my button jar and found the pink button. I also did a bit of scoring on the face of the card.

Hope you are having a fun week, LeAnne!

Sunflowers

Hi everybody!

I have a few sunflower cards to share today. I love sunflowers, and lucky me, they grow wild out back of our house!

This card is made by a friend of mine who just started a new blog....you can check it out here.

She loves to use alcohol inks, here is a sample with the same image:

I just love that stamp, and of course the cards she made with them!

Have a great day!

Paper Players sketch challenge

Hi everybody!

Ann has a great sketch challenge for us this week at Paper Players:

I was determined to use this piece of pretty DP from the All Abloom paper pack. My intention was to keep the card exactly like you see it in the sketch. But then I noticed the paper went the other way, so I had to turn the card!

I had to make quite a few adjustments after that, cutting the flags, and using a different size circle to name a few.
But I got it to work..with that beautiful piece of DP intact!

If you want to play along ...head on over to Paper Players!

Less is More..... anything goes challenge

It's Chrissie's Birthday so it's an "anything goes" challenge at less is more this week.

Since I am into the new MB taped candle die, I chose to enter this card, one of many I made with it!
This time the candle is cut in red foil paper, I added the MB poinsettia and holly leaves. It's all backed on Lil inker stitched rectangles.

Happy Birthday Chrissie!

Another challenge...

The challenge at Simon Says Wednesday is.....emboss it!

I used a Christmas Darice folder for the embossed background. I adhered the MB Single Tapered die and poinsettia to the stitched rectangle from Lil inker. The sentiment is from SU.

Check out the other cards here!

SU summer workshop cards

I have a bunch of SU workshop cards to show you from classes I went to this summer. Some of these may be cases, I have no way of knowing for sure!

I sure had lots of fun attending the classes....can't wait for next month!

Pals Paper Arts Challenge

There's a sketch challenge at Pals Paper Arts this week:

07-24
I opened the new set, "Ray of Sunshine" and grabbed a few inks in yellows. I also used the Work Of Art set, and some black, white and yellow card stock.
Then I added a few sequins and tied on some bakers twine.

Here's the link to check out the other cards at PPA!

Watercolor challenge

I'm not much for water coloring, but that was the challenge at Lawnscaping, so I gave it a go.

I had trouble adhering the water color paper, it took several attempts to get it to lay flat. I used SU's Blue Lagoon for the card stock and watercolor waves. I stamped the boat and sentiments from Lawn Fawn on top of the waves, then added a few sequins to round it all off. The stitched rectangles are from Lil inker.

Have a great day everybody!
