Today I'm sharing another butterfly card I made using my friends butterfly dies. This time I used SU's Pool Party. The card reminds me of spring....and the sun is finally shining...so I'm off for a walk by the lake.
One of my friends made a card similar to this that I really liked...this is my version. I used nesties for the hearts....real red and white card stock. I made the leaves with SU's oval punch, and just cut a stem out. The DP is from SU's in-color DP pack. I was going to stamp "hello" inside the tiny white heart, but I guess I forgot!
I made this card with SU in-color DP....my favorite paper pack! I have really enjoyed the in-colors this time, and this paper pack has some great designs.
I used ALOT of punches. The flower is made with the Blossom punch, and the center with a circle punch. I added a brad in the middle. The leaves are made with an oval, and the border with the Lace Ribbon punch. I can't remember the stamp I used...it was my friends.....I'll have to ask her next time I see her!
This is the card I made for my daughter for her Birthday. If you have been reading my last 2 posts, I have been making cards with the dies my friend let me use. And YES, this is yet another one, this time made with these cute candles. I made a ton of candles...once I started I couldn't stop....way to much fun!
My friend not only had a pretty butterfly die she let me use the other day, but also some awesome labels.I love the shape of this one!
The card stock DP is SU's Island Indigo. I used a piece of white for the front and embossed it with my swiss dots folder. SU's oval punches fit perfectly inside the label. The sentiment is stamped in black from Lizzie Anne "Little Bits."
One of my friends has this pretty butterfly die, and let me cut out a bunch of them. Lucky me!
This card is made with SU's Wisteria Wonder DP and card stock. I put a few pearls in the center of the butterfly. The sentiment is stamped in black from Stampendous "Scripty Stems."
I had alot of fun making cards with these sweet butterflies!
I used Stampendous "Scripty Stems" stamp set for this card. I added a bit of ribbon for leaves and a brad in the center of the flower.
I must be thinking SPRING.....I just made a bunch of cards and I notice they are all flowers or butterflies. Well, even though we have had a mild winter, I guess I am looking forward to spring weather!
