Memory Box sled die

Hi everyone!

It's time for my very favorite kind of challenge at The Paper Players....Sandy has a FUN Tic tac toe for us this week!

Which way to go?!

I finally chose the left side down...I used white, an embossing folder, and a die cut.

The embossing folder is from Stampin' Up called Softly Falling. I was late to the party buying this one, but I am so glad I did, I love it! I backed it on some SU designer paper.

Then I added a Memory Box large winter sled cut out in real red. The sled is decorated with some old olive MB holly, Impression Obsession sprigs, a twine bow and red jingle bells. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn called Merry Christmas border. I cut it out 3 times to pop it up. Lastly, I added a few mini white snowflakes from Lawn Fawn.

Head on over to The Paper Players and join the fun!

Paper: SU white, real red, old olive, DP
Dies: Memory Box large winter sled and holly, Lawn Fawn mini snowflakes and merry Christmas border, Impression Obsession sprigs

Memory Box Holly Card

Hi everyone!

What an awesome day I had. I baked a couple kinds of cookies all morning ,and  made Christmas cards all afternoon. Two of my favorite ways to spend a day!

This is one of the Christmas cards I made, all in silver and white with a just one pop of red:

I started with just a strip of some SU designer paper, and a sliver of the silver glitter paper.( Say that 5 times fast!) The white swirl wreath is from Penny Black, one of my new favorite Christmas dies this year. I added the silver and red foil holly from Memory Box, that is also a new favorite, and a couple of Impression Obsession evergreen glitter sprigs to it. The sentiment is from Poppystamps, cut out in some more silver foil.

I'm entering this at:

Christmas quilt

Hi everyone!

I'm back to making Christmas cards again, this time using some pretty blues from Lawn Fawn with my Jillian Vance quilt die. I added a strip of glitter paper for a bit of texture. The sentiment is also cut out in sliver glitter paper.

I added a snowflake in the middle with an enamel dot in its center to finish the card off!

Back to the craft room for me...I need to make a ton of Christmas cards yet!

The Paper Players sketch challenge

Hi everyone!

Today it's my turn to host The Paper Players challenge, and I have a fun sketch for you:

My card is quite a change from the Christmas cards I have been making lately. Kind of reminds me of spring!

I made this card with LOTS of dies. The banners are from MFT, the rectangle and tag from Lil Inker, the birdhouse from Impression Obsession, and the leaves are from Poppystamps.

I stamped the sentiment in black from Taylored Expressions, "Many Mini's Occasions."

Happy Holidays!

Hi everyone!

I found this reindeer paper from Sugarplum at my local craft store...

and thought it was so cute!

I came right home and made this card with it. I popped up the paper for some dimension.
The deer is colored with copics from My Favorite Things," Christmas Cuteness."  I adhered him onto a stitched tag from Lil Inker, and cut lots of  Lawn fawn mini snowflakes out of glitter paper. I just clipped on the bow with a tiny clothespin!

I'm entering this at:

The Card Concept #44 Christmas Quilt

Hi everyone!

Look at this fun inspiration photo for The Card Concept challenge:

I LOVE a country Christmas!
There are a million ways one could go with this photo. The warm traditional Christmas colors with pops of gold inspired me to make this Christmas quilt with my Jillian Vance quilt die:

In the photo, I also saw the framed picture of a sleigh, and it reminded me of this sentiment,"Sleigh bells ring are you listening," from Jillian Vance's Jingle all the Way stamp set.

So for the center of the quilt, I used my Impression Obsession dies and cut out some gold bells, and adhered some IO pine sprigs and a twine bow. My version of jingle bells!

Head on over to The Card Concept and play along!

Paper: SU chocolate chip, textured greens and red, gold foil
Ink: SU real red
Stamps: Jillian Vance Jingle all the Way
Dies: Jillian Vance quilt, MFT cross stitched rectangles, Impression Obsession Pine sprig clusters and Christmas Icons, MFT pierced squares

Paper Players Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Hi everyone!

Where did the week go? It's Sunday already, and time for the new challenge at The Paper Players

Jaydee's  CAS "Walking in a Winter Wonderland!"

I LOVE that song!
I immediately thought of my stamp set from Taylored Expressions called," Ready Set Snow." The sentiment was perfect for the challenge.  I colored the cute bunnies with some Copics. Just so happens I had some patterned snowflake paper that had the same colors in it.

I cut the paper at an angle and popped it up:

Then I cut out some tiny snowflakes from Lawn Fawn in silver glitter paper and pink card stock.

Not too long from now, I WILL be walking in a winter wonderland I suppose. But for right now, I am enjoying the unusually warmer weekend we are having up north!
