He is Risen

The challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More is:

I chose Easter for my holiday card!

I used all products from Frantic Stamper. The cross is called, "He Is Risen Wooden Cross." I love the texture and detail! The sentiment is adhered to the pretty Stitched Rose Swirl Background.

I have all my Easter cards finished and ready to put in the mail, including this one!

I hope you will join the fun and play along at ATSM!

The challenge at Dies R Us today is:

Grab our Badge!

I started out with some pretty paper from my scrap box, and cut out a scalloped circle from Tutti Designs.

I cut out another one in white and adhered Impression Obsession's Moon and Back.

The Paper Players Tic tac Toe challenge

Ann has a Tic Tac Toe challenge for us at The Paper Players:

I went with rhinestones, spring and butterflies....straight down the middle.

I stamped Stampin' Up's sentiment from "Friendly Conversation" and then used Taylored Expressions Ornate die to frame it. The butterfly is also from Stampin' Up.

I hope you will join us!

Spring thankful for The Paper Players

Hello everyone!

Oh my. It's been quite the week hasn't it?

Lots of plans changed for us, and so much uncertainty ahead for us with this virus. It's been hard. But at least Americans are getting along better and everyone is pitching in and working together to get through this. Together, we can do it!

My card  today using this Paper Players sketch, is a "thankful"card.

There are just SO many things to be thankful for, and now is a perfect time to think of all the positive things going on around us! One of the things I am thankful for is my hobby...making cards is such a great way to relieve stress and have some fun. A perfect thing to fill my time while staying home.

I used Tutti Designs Tulip Window die to make this card. I did some paper piecing and added a sentiment from Carta Bella's "Just Be You," at the bottom.

I hope you play along!

The Paper Players Spring Flowers Challenge

The challenge from Joanne at The Paper Players is:

Spring Flowers!
I just can't wait for spring!!

Meanwhile until that happens, I had fun making this card with Spellbinders Sketched Blooms. I did a bit of inlaying. The sentiment is one from Frantic Stamper called Mother Love....and I do LOVE it.
 Especially this verse:

"If I had a flower for each time I thought of my Mother, I could walk in my garden forever."

So very true for me. I lost my mom years ago, but not a day goes by I don't think of her! She was the best mom ever, and I miss her so much.

I adhered everything to a Tutti Designs scalloped stitched rectangle, and the card was done!

Dies R Us Things with Wings

The challenge at Dies R Us is, "Things with Wings." I chose a butterfly!

Our Challenge Blog

I used 3 Memory Box dies to create the frame...such pretty dies! The blue background and yellow butterfly I made with alcohol ink. I stamped the sentiment at the bottom and also added the word "thanks" in the center of the circle. A few pearls completed the card.

Here's a list of dies I used:

We have some exciting news to share with you. Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts

It will ship to both the US and Canada.  Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different.  Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!
