Dies R Us Birthday Challenge

Hi everyone! The challenge at Dies R Us is Birthdays!

Our Challenge Blog

I used Sue Wilson's King of the Grill die set to make the grill and utensils. I adhered them to Tutti's dotted nesting rectangle and scalloped rectangle.

The sentiment is from Darcie's Grill Master set, stamped in black.

Spellbinders Enjoy the Ride card

This week LeAnne is the hostess at The Paper Players for a color challenge:

I made a thank you card with Hello Bluebirds Gallery Frame dies and Spellbinders Enjoy the Ride. I think the scooters are so cute! They do have a lot of small pieces though, so it takes some time to put them together. I think it's worth the added effort.

The flowers and sentiment also come with the Hello Bluebird set, so it's lots of fun to play with!

Simon Says Sweet Tulip Card

Hi everyone!

I joined a challenge team today at Addicted to Stamps and More. I'm excited to be a part of this group, as I have been entering cards there for a long time. The challenge runs weekly, and for this one the theme is Clean and Simple.

I used Simon Says Sweet Tulip die. I cut it out several times and layered it to add some dimension.

Then I cut out a piece of alcohol ink paper for the background. I adhered everything together, keeping in mind that this is a clean and simple challenge..... making sure to leave lots of white space!

The sentiment is from Altenew, white embossed onto some black paper.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you will join the can find it here!

The Paper Players Water Sports Challenge

Today I'm the hostess at The Paper Players and I chose the theme "water sports."
We like to spend a lot of time on the water here in Minnesota...whether its in the summer or MN is known as the land of 10,000 lakes. Hockey, fishing, snow shoeing, water skiing, tubing, boating, are some of the popular water sports....just to name a few!

Since my kids loved tubing, I picked that for my water sport.
I used some distress inks to create my water themed background...I love how it turned out! The waves look so realistic, and I love how it shows so much movement. I added my sentiment from Whimsy Stamps, and one of the kids on a tube from Impression Obsession. I also adhered some clear drops for embelishment.

Here's a list of the supplies I used:

Paper: SU
Ink: Memento Black
Stamps:Whimsy Stamps Life's a Beach
Dies: Impression Obsession Tubers, Tutti Designs scalloped stitched rectangle
Other: clear drops
