Cheery Lynn Football Helmets for The Paper Players

 Hi everyone!

Today Nance has a fun sketch for us at The Paper Players:

The past few weeks I have been making a few cards to put away for my kids. This one is for my son, who loves to play fantasy football. Of course, growing up in MN, the Vikings are one of his favorite teams.

I found a set of paper at our local craft store I was SO excited about! It's from Scrapbook Customs, and has 12 sheets of double sided Vikings Pride Football paper. The store also carried a MN Twins pack. The paper is such a high quality, and the designs so much fun! I found a link here if you are interested....looks like they make several teams.

For this card I used 3 pieces of the paper. The helmet and footballs are from Cheery Lynn's sport die set. I had to free hand the famous Vikings horn, and adhere it to the helmet.

I think my son will get a kick out of opening this card next fall...and I have a feeling I'll even make it on his frig!!!

Cheery Lynn Whimsical Birdhouse for The Paper Players

Hi everyone!

Jaydee's challenge at The Paper Players this week is "CAS feathered friends."

I've been playing with my Cheery Lynn dies and making a few 4th of July cards the last few days. For this one I used the whimsical birdhouse, pierced circles and stars, and the bird on a branch dies. I stamped the sentiment in black from Lizzie Anne's Little Bits set.

Dies R Us Celebrations

Hi everyone!

Today at Dies R Us the challenge is all about "celebrations."

Our Challenge Blog

I thought I would share a Father's Day card I made using one of Taylored Expressions Color Block Plates. I love them! (They have a square and rectangle.)

I always have so much fun filling all the little boxes:

I also stamped " #1 Dad" in one of the boxes, from Taylored Expressions Punny Man stamp set.

Here's a list of all the dies I used:

Sue Wilson Shadow Box Baby Card

Today LeAnne is hosting a color challenge at The Paper Players:

This was SO hard!!!

First of all, I didn't have any lemon lime twist, so I had to improvise. I found some paper in my cricut papers that I thought was close. Then I couldn't come up with anything...just a blank.

I had recently been making some baby cards with Sue Wilson's Shadow box dies, so I thought...why not a baby card?

So that's what I did!
I filled all the little boxes with cute little baby things, all from Sue Wilson.

Memory Box Workshop Border for The Paper Players

Hi everyone!

Jaydee has a fun Birthday challenge this week at The Paper Players:

I decided to make a card with the Memory Box Workshop Border die. I just love all the little tools and had fun making them in different colors. I used the yellow ones for this card.

I backed them on Cheery Lynn's Lattice #2 die. The birthday sign is made using Impression Obsession's 6 in 1 rectangle.

The sentiment is stamped in black from Lizzie Anne's Little Bits. I backed everything on a Memory Box Cross Stitched Frame Border.

Dies R Us Masculine Challenge

Hi everyone!

Today's challenge at Dies R Us is "masculine." My card could actually be used for anyone, but I did make it for my son, so I'm labeling it as a guy card. I tried to give it an "up north woodsy" look.

Grab our Badge!

I used a bunch of dies and grouped them together on a piece of fun patterned paper. The MN die and boat are from Cheery Lynn and the trees and deer are from Impression Obsession. I added a sentiment from Poppystamps.

Here's a list of the dies I used:

I can't wait to see the gallery, as I'm always looking for ideas for masculine cards!
