Turkey Time Challenge at The Paper Players

I'm the hostess at The Paper Players and I chose Turkey Time for the theme!

I have this cute turkey die set leftover from my Cheery Lynn days that I have never used, so I broke it out for this card. I pieced the turkey together, then adhered him along with some leaves and a pumpkin onto a Frantic Stamper rectangle. Then I adhered that onto the Swirly Stitched leaves panel, also from Frantic Stamper.

"Bee Mine" Dies R Us

The challenge at Dies R Us is "Birds/and or Bees."

Grab our Badge!

I made this Valentine with Cheery Lynn's cute bee die. I love the sweet smile on his face!

I cut him out in yellow and black and adhered him onto a red heart from memory Box. Then I cut out a black Cheery Lynn honeycomb and adhered it all onto white card stock.

I stamped the sentiment in black from Craftsmart onto the bottom.

Here's a list of the dies I used:

Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween!

I have one last Halloween card to share...this one made with Cheery Lynn's Trick or Treat border die.

I cut out some Lil Inker circles for windows..love the stitches! Then I cut off some of the characters from the border die and adhered them in the windows. The sentiment is from Cheery Lynn's Pumpkin die set, and the cute bats from their Happy Halloween set.

Hope you have a fun Halloween!

Cheery Lynn Just Married

Hi everyone!

I don't know about you, but we sure have had lots of weddings to go to this summer. And I've been having fun making wedding cards with my Cheery Lynn dies!

For this card, I started out with some patterned paper. The cars on it reminded me of Cheery Lynn's Classic Car. I cut it out in white, pink and silver shimmer paper. I added some pearls  and stamped the sentiment on the licence plate.

I cut out the bride and groom from the Wedding Vow die set and adhered them inside the car.

What a cute couple..lol!

I adhered the car onto a Heart to Heart Doily cut out in black and pink. I even used some of the tiny pink hearts that fell out of the doily to adhere on the card too!

Happy 4th of July

Hi everyone! Are you ready for the 4th?

I think I am...I just ran into town and braved the crowds of tourists to pick up last minute groceries. It's raining out right now with more storms headed our way for the 4th. But rain or shine we always grill and watch the fireworks! I can only remember one time that the fireworks were cancelled...it has to really be pouring out. Fingers crossed!

I made this festive 4th of July card with Cheery Lynn's Chevron plate in red, white and blue. The stitched rectangle and stars are also from Cheery Lynn. The word "home" is from Technique Tuesday.

I have one more 4th of July card to share, and that will be posted on Sunday for The Paper Players 2nd week of celebration for our 400th challenge. I hope you will join us!

I had so much fun making 4th cards this year....and I'm already excited to make some more for next 4th of July. One of my friends just got a new statue of Liberty die...can't wait to borrow it!

Have a happy and safe 4th of July!

I chose to make a card celebrating the 4th...we do it up BIG in our small town. Huge fireworks, parades, rodeo's, the fair...lots going on for all the tourists and cabin people who frequent our area up north. It's always a busy and fun week.

For my 4th of July card, I decided to use products from some of my favorite stamping companies who donated prizes to our Paper Players celebration. Cheery Lynn, Dies R Us and Tutti Designs. I have been on their design teams for awhile now, and was so excited that they offered up gift certificates to help us celebrate! A BIG thanks to them and to ALL the awesome companies who donated.

I started out with Tutti Designs dotted pierced and scalloped pierced rectangles. Two of my "go to" dies that I use all the time!

Another favorite die of mine is the celebrate pop up die from Cheery Lynn. I like to cut it off and use it as a sentiment. I added some CL swags, a bow and tiny enamel stars.

Cheery Lynn Retro Buddies

Hi everyone!
Today my card features two of Cheery Lynn's dies from the Retro Release. There are 10 dies in this release, and they are all so fun! I find myself reaching for them again and again!

I decided to make a Birthday card for a friend's son who loves robots. I cut out one of the robots from the Robot Buddies set in black and orange. Then I added some silver foil arms and legs.

Cheery Lynn Designs - Robot Buddies Die Set - 9 Die Set - B942

I also cut out two signs in some fun patterned paper using the Retro Sign die set.

Cheery Lynn Designs - Retro Signs Die Set - 8 Die Set - B945

I stamped and colored the Happy Birthday sentiment and then adhered the signs and robot. I added a few funky stars with enamel dot centers cut out from the same set.

Cherry Lynn Vintage Christmas Car

Hi everyone!

This fun classic vintage car from Cheery Lynn reminded me of when I was a kid and our family packed up and headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Christmas. SO... I decided to create a Christmas scene with it for my siblings!

We actually did put luggage and presents on top of our car...but in a luggage rack. There were 4 kids, one large black lab and our parents, so we all barely fit inside! Since I was the youngest, I sat in the front, in the middle. That was the worst...with a hump on the floor, and very little room to get comfortable at all. It was a 3 hour drive!  BUT those are some of the best memories I have..the trips of us all together in that car!

First I cut out the car and presents:

Cheery Lynn Designs - Classic Car Die Set - 13 Die Set - B944

Cheery Lynn Designs - Deco Christmas Tree - 5 Piece - B915

Then I adhered them onto a blue circle, and added some holly from the Christmas Wreath set:

After I stamped the sentiment, I added some flecks of snow with white paint and a toothbrush.
