Happy Little Stampers August Challenge

Hi everyone! Time for the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies challenge.

Today's card is all about weddings!

I sponged a light soft blue background and sprinkled some water here and there and let it dry. Then I adhered a circle from Papertrey, a bride and groom from Cottage Cutz and the sentiment from Impression Obsession.
I also added some blue tiny pearls.

The Paper Players Wedding/Anniversary Theme Challenge

Hi everyone!

I'm the host at The Paper Players this week and I chose:

We are busy getting ready for our son's wedding this fall, so weddings have been on my mind!

For this card I started out with the coordinating background papers and went from there. I used all Frantic Stamper products which can be found here in the Love and Friendship release.

The Paper Players Color Challenge

Hi everyone!

Ann has a color challenge for us at The Paper Players:

I have been making several of these clean and simple wedding cards for my stash, and they all happen to be in the challenge colors. I grabbed this one out of the bunch to share with you today.

I used all products from Frantic Stamper. The Wedding Attire set makes it so fun and easy to make this quick card! I added a Ruffled Heart Frame with the sentiment. No stamping this time...only dies!

(BUT I did stamp inside!!)

I hope you will join us!

I'm sharing some more dies from Frantic Stampers December release!

Today's card is all about weddings...I cut out some hearts with the Ruffled Heart Frame(FRA-DIE-10551)  in red and white. The die comes with the words True Love.

But of course the real star of the card is the Wedding Attire set. (FRA-DIE-10743) I love the extra dies that come with it...the pretty rose bouquet, hat and cake. On this card I just added the roses.

Cheery Lynn Just Married

Hi everyone!

I don't know about you, but we sure have had lots of weddings to go to this summer. And I've been having fun making wedding cards with my Cheery Lynn dies!

For this card, I started out with some patterned paper. The cars on it reminded me of Cheery Lynn's Classic Car. I cut it out in white, pink and silver shimmer paper. I added some pearls  and stamped the sentiment on the licence plate.

I cut out the bride and groom from the Wedding Vow die set and adhered them inside the car.

What a cute couple..lol!

I adhered the car onto a Heart to Heart Doily cut out in black and pink. I even used some of the tiny pink hearts that fell out of the doily to adhere on the card too!

Dies R Us "Fancy Corners" Challenge

Hi everyone!

The challenge at Dies R Us is "Fancy Corners!"

Grab our Badge!

What a fun idea for a challenge, and a new one for me. I had fun looking at my dies trying to find some with fancy dancy corners. I finally decided this die from Cheery Lynn would do perfectly!

It's called Fiona's Magic Mirror, and I think the corners are very fancy. Actually I think it all looks fancy so I turned it into a wedding card. I turned the Christmas Bells from Cheery Lynn into wedding bells. The only embellishment I added was one pearl.

I can't wait to see the cards you all make ...it will be fun to see what everyone comes up with for corners!

Dies R Us August Doilies/lace Challenge

Hi everyone!
The new challenge at Dies R Us is Doilies and/or lace.
Right a way I thought of a wedding card, and dug out this gorgeous couple from Tattered Lace. I love her lacy dress! I thought Taylored expressions circles cutting plate would be perfect for the background...it has that lattice doily look.

I do have one more wedding coming up soon, so I will set this aside for that. This summer was a busy one with graduations and weddings....always so much fun!

The links to the dies I used are below this photo...takes you right to the Dies R Us store. Tons of new dies just came in...you can check that out here. My wish list is a long one...LOL!

A wedding cake for The Card Concept challege

Hi everyone!

Here's the challenge at The Card Concept:

The colors and beautiful cake inspired me to make a cake of my own!
I dug in my box of cut outs and found some fun things to use. The three layer cake is a die cut a friend gave me..I think it's from Memory Box. It's cut out in a textured cream card stock. I added a few swirls and flowers, all given to me from friends, so I'm not sure what company. The base of the card is in white, cut out with MFT's Blueprints #20.

The sentiment is from Stampin Up's "Petite Pairs." I stamped it in my new favorite gold ink from Delicata called, "Golden Glitz."

You can check out the other design team cards here, and play along!

Wishing you happiness

Hi everyone!

It sure is a busy time with all the graduations, confirmations, and now weddings headed our way. I made this wedding card with a favorite die..the Penny Black rose. It's so beautiful! I used one of my alcohol ink backgrounds....a pretty pink. I framed it with the Impression Obsession 5 in 1 die, and added the sentiment"wishing" from MFT. Inside it says,"You Happiness."

Have a great day!

A break from Christmas...

Hi everyone!

I decided to take a break from Christmas and post a wedding card. I do LOVE Christmas, but wow...it's been a LONG time since I've made a wedding card. About time I guess!

I think this new die from tattered lace is so beautiful, so I cut out several in various colors. But I think my favorite is the black, as it looks so striking with the blue. I added a few tiny pearls and a sentiment.

Memory Box Magnificent Cake

Good Morning!

I woke up this morning to lightly falling snow..actually so pretty..but oh....SO cold! I'm thankful we are north of the big snow from yesterday where some places had 16 inches. BUT we still are receiving the BIG COLD everyone is talking about on the news.
I'm thinking today is a perfect day to stay inside and do some stamping and baking!

Over at Fusion the challenge is:

I think you can tell I chose to go with the cake!
No.... this is not another new die of mine...it's a friends again. She actually has some really cute new wedding dies...this is the Magnificent Cake from Memory Box. I think it's a beautiful die, I just love the swirls on each layer.
I backed it on an embossed panel from Cuttlebug called Grace's Frame. The blue flowers are from Elizabeth's balloon die set, and the swirl is an old Scribble Swirl form Sizzix. I used all cream textured paper, with just the pop of blue. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions many minis, punched out with SU's small oval punch. I also added a few pearls from Stampin Up.

A Clean and Simple wedding card....

Have a great day..and stay warm!

Wedding dress...Stampin Up all dressed up

A few weeks ago I made a wedding dress similar to this. But this time I added another row of roses. I also used the adorning accents die and embossing folder. The sentiment it from Hero Arts.
Love those roses!

Stamps: Hero Arts

This wedding card is not a total case, but I did get the idea for the dress on Pinterest from Stamped silly.

I just think the lacy flowers are so pretty and just perfect for the dress die!

Shoebox is ready!

I finally got my shoebox ready for card club tomorrow night. I haven't had much time to spend in my craft cave lately. I needed something fast and easy so I came up with this wedding card. Should be a fun night! I'll post the other cards we make on Wednesday.

Weddings

I sure had a hard time taking a photo of this card! The paper is actually SU's retired soft sky with some vellum over it. The vellum has silver leaves on it. This time I cut out the embossed sentiment. I tied the bow on and added a wedding charm that says,"to love and to cherish."

More weddings

Hi!

I have a few weddings coming up this summer so when I saw this wedding embossing set I just had to have it. I took a bunch of flowers and added tiny pearls to their centers...put them all around the sentiment and added a bow at the top. It seemed like it needed something more so I added a flower to the center of the bow.

Have a fun Monday!
