Here's a cute lil tag I made with some leftover shapes. The deer is from Tim Holtz Nordic plate.

I have tons of tags so I'll be posting them over the next few weeks. They are one of my favorite things to make!

More tags!

I'm back with more tags!

These are made with Taylored Expressions tag set. I have had it for so many years, and I still reach for it all the time.

I also used a page of card fronts in one of my 6 x 6 paper pads.

I added some gems and stamped a sentiment on each one.

Thanks for stopping by!

I am really loving all the Nordic looking dies out this year!

This one is called Magic Deer by spellbinders. I chose just a few colors, purple, grey and white. He was fun to put together. In fact I made quite a few in various colors.

The sentiment is cut out in silver foil from Cheery Lynn, and the embossing folder is from Sizzix Winter Snowflakes..

The Paper Players Tag challenge

Today I am joining The Paper Players challenge, but not as a design team member!

I decided to step down as I have so many things going on in my life right now that need my time and attention. Two grandsons and a move to a new city seem to take up most of my time, and I love it!

But that doesn't mean you won't be seeing my cards in the gallery from time to time. I couldn't resist this challenge as it's a fave:

This tag I made with some Tutti Designs circles and Spellbinders dies. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions. I embossed it in white.

Tim Holtz Christmas Tag set

Hi!

Today I have some tags to share.
I got this tag set from Tim Holtz a few years ago, made these tags and never posted them! So today is the day.

Actually, I have tons of cards and projects that I have never posted yet, many from years ago, so it's my goal to post a few every week.

This set came with the tag, an embossing folder and the deer with swag dies. I just added a few bows, or hearts here and there that I had in my die cut stash.

I dug out some Tutti Designs circles to make a few....

....and the fun trees from Concord and 9th Trim the Tree die set.

I love that set and hardly ever use it. So another goal of mine is going to be dig out those dies and stamps that I really like and USE them again!

I'm going to enter these at:

Have a great day!

Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge

It's time for the Christmas challenge over at Happy Little Stampers:

I love glitter!

I chose to use the Memory Box cabin snowglobe dies. Once layered, they make such cute ornaments or gift tags.

(There's a great video here that shows how they go together.)

I used glitter paper for the backgrounds.:

These were so fun to put together. I also made some haunted house ones:

I hope you will join us at Happy Little Stampers!

Time for another Happy Little Stamper challenge!

I went with another Christmas card this month HLS, they are my very fave to make so that should be no surprise...lol! I'm a Christmas person year around!

I found some awesome wood grained paper complete with snowflakes on it a few years ago that I have been hoarding. I dug it out and used a piece here. I also added a strip of plaid paper to give the card a county Christmas feel.

Then I added a snowman from Simon Says, pine border from Memory box, snowflakes from Impression obsession, and sentiment from Papertrey.

Hope to see your cards in the HLS gallery!

Frantic Stamper 6 x 6 recipe card

Besides having a stamping blog called Stamping Up North, I also have a cooking one called,"Cookin Up North." I love baking and sharing recipes, so I was pretty happy to see the 6x6 Recipe Cards Paper Pad in the new Frantic Stamper release.

I like to make 6x6 scrapbook pages for my cookbooks, and I'm sharing one here today. The recipe is for Chocolate Revel Bars which I make quite often for potlucks and large gatherings. They travel well and are easy to sell at bake sales too. You can find the recipe below and also at this link:

https://cookinupnorth.blogspot.com/…/old-time-favoritechoco…

I started out with the recipe card from Recipe Cards FRA-6x6-003 and Kitchen Textures FRA-6x6-002. Such awesome papers it was hard to choose! Then I added some bowls and sentiments from FRA-DIE-11006-09845-11007 at the bottom.

I can't wait to make some more pages for my scrapbook! I'll be sure to post them here in the next few weeks!

Memory box Home for the Holiday tags

Hi everyone!

I made some tags for the Dies R Us Anything goes with dies from the store challenge.

I love to make tags, all kinds actually.. but I have to say Christmas are my very favorite. They are so festive and fun!

I LOVED making these from Memory box using the Cabin Snowglobe die.

First I used some Ranger Distress Inks and sponged some sky backgrounds. Then I used a toothbrush and white ink to add some snowflakes.

I cut out all the pieces, sponging the cabin, smoke and door with distress inks also. I cut out some yellow paper to adhere to the back of the tiny cabin for the windows.

When I had adhered everything, I traced the die for a back on the tags. Then I tied on some silver string.

Here's a list of the dies I used:

ATSM marker challenge

Here's the challenge at ATSM:

I stamped the cute Santa from Darcie on some tags, and colored them in using my copics. Then I stamped the sentiment at the bottom. I added a bow from Cheery Lynn at the top, some silver cord, and sparkle enamel dots. I went back with a white gel pen to add some details.

I hope you will play along!

The Paper Players Sketch Challenge

Claire has a sketch challenge for us at The Paper Players:

I chose to make some Christmas tags for the grand dogs in my life....lol! I always get them something. I even have cute dog Christmas wrap!

I used some Hourglass Scalloped tag dies from Frantic Stamper for the tags. (10696) I added some black checked paper for the strip across, then added some cute dog stickers I found at Hobby Lobby after Christmas sales. The holly and sentiment is also from Frantic Stamper also. (CL-148) Dog Happiness.
