You did it!

Here's a quick Congratulations card I made using the Bold Congrats & Layer die (FRA-DIE-11022)

I adhered it to the Inverted Scalloped Half Panel (FRA-DIE-10838) then I stamped the sentiment from Positive Vibes (CL-169)

The Paper Players color challenge

Anne Marie's color challenge at The Paper Players is:

My pop of color is a red heart!

I used a die from Tutti Designs for the diploma and the sentiment from Creative Expressions to create this slimline grad card.

Always nice to have a few in my card stash!

Adventure awaits!

Today's card features some Tutti Design dies from Dies R Us for the challenge this month.

I made a nautical grad card with the Ship in the Bottle and the Fishing net. I adhered it onto a Tutti rectangle, and stamped the sentiment at the bottom. I love making nautical cards, and this ship is one of my fave dies.

CRAFTY CHICKS grad card

This is my last week over at the Krafty Chicks challenge. I had lots of fun sharing my cards for the month of May!
The challenge this week is ALL OCCASION.

Grad cards have been on my mind this spring. I feel so sorry for all of those who did not get to have ceremonies and celebrations this year. Who would ever think we would all be going through a pandemic...yikes!

This card is for a kindergarten graduation, and it was fun to make. The dies are from spellbinders, and I used Doodle Bugs "Hats Off" paper pack.

I hope you will all play along, and many thanks to the Krafty Chicks for letting me play along, too. i have enjoyed being a guest designer!

Have a great day,
Laurie

Supplies:
Paper: SU, Doodlebug Hats Off
Ink: Memento black
Stamps: Taylored Expression
Dies: Spellbinders, Tutti Designs Graduation die for the hat
Other: enamel dots

The Paper Players CAS challenge

The challenge from Ann at The Paper Players is:

I made a couple of clean and simple grad cards using some washi tape...I have SO much of the stuff and I love collecting it. But I'm not so good at using it..lol.

For both cards I added the globe from my days with Cheery Lynn. (now called Makers Movement) I made sure to leave," lots of white space and minimal embellishments."

Here's the set together:

Dies R Us Graduation/Congrats

The challenge at Dies R Us is Graduation/Congrats.

Our Challenge Blog

This was a very simple and EZ card to make! I used a strip of paper from Doodle bugs Hats Off paper pack, and just added the globe from Cheery Lynn. The sentiment is from Impression Obsession. I love the silver and black together....so festive for the occasion!

I hope all the grads get to celebrate at home or with some family at least...I feel so bad for them not being able to participate in the traditional ceremonies. The year 2020 is certainly giving us some challenging times.....

Here's a list of the dies I used:

We have some exciting news to share with you.  .Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts

It will ship to both the US and Canada.  Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different.  Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

Taylored Expressions Eventful Graduation

Hi everyone!

Today Happy Little Stampers May Anything Goes with Dies Challenge begins:

It's time for graduations!
I was in need of a few grad cards this spring, so I cut out some grads with Taylored Expressions Eventful Graduation die. It's actually a longer die, as I cut off a couple of the grads so it would fit my card.

Underneath I added some paper from the Hats Off  Doodlebug paper pack. I just love that paper..so cute!

Underneath the paper I added my sentiment from Taylored Expressions Wonderful World.

So easy I made 2!

I hope you will join us!

Dies R Us Challenge

Today the challenge at Dies R Us is "Black and White."

I made a card with the graduation dies from Cheery Lynn, and some basic shapes from Tutti Designs. The paper is from Doodle Bug called "Hats Off."

I love that paper pad...the designs are adorable. I chose the piece that has a bunch of cute images on it...all in black and white of course!

I chose to make a graduation card with Cheery Lynn's Whimsical Owl. I have him holding a diploma and wearing a hat from Cherry Lynn's Graduation set. So cute! I backed him on an Ornate Frame from Taylored Expressions. I use that frame ALL the time! I love the scrolls.

Hi everyone!

Well it's graduation time around here, and this year we were invited to 7! We haven't had that many for years!

The colors at our local high school are orange and black (go Panthers!) so I went with that. The embossing folder is from Darice.... I think...it belongs to a friend of mine. (Actually so does the hat AND the sentiment! LOL!)

The "Congrats" is from Eilzabeth Craft designs, and the grad hat from Taylored Expressions. I added a gold enamel dot, and stamped a sentiment inside.

I'm entering this at:

Pixies Crafty Workshop

Cuttlebug Mania (embossed)

Have a great day!

Paper: SU black, white, pumpkin pie
Dies: TE grad hat, ECD congrats
Other: Darice embossing folder,enamel dot

Reach for the stars!

The challenge at Just for Fun this week was black, white, silver, and one other color. I chose red! I think red really pops with the black and white. The silver part of the card are the stars on the paper.

The sentiment is stamped in SU black ink from Hampton Art. I used my SU star die for the red stars, and added some bitty buttons in the centers. The ribbon is black checkered from Offray.

Reach for the stars

I found this dollar stamp at the local Ben Franklin. Sometimes you can really find treasures in those dollar bins! It stamps so nice and clear..its rubber, not a clear stamp. Occasionally I find those clear dollar stamps don't stamp well. They end up blurry and not very well defined.

This stamp gave me a chance to use the SU star die. I did a bit of piercing with my Ornare stencil and added a bit of gold stickles. The buttons were a recent find at a rummage sale. This will make a great grad card!

Paper: kraft, white, bravo burgundy and nite of navy
Ink: nite of navy
Stamps: dollar
Other: SU star die, circle punch, buttons, Onhair piercing

Grad cards

I am finally posting my grad cards from the May card swap at work....here they are:

Here's the one I made:
I've got a stash now saved for next year!

They're done!

I finished my cards for this months card swap at work! Since I was so behind this week I called my scrappin' and stampin' friend Peg for some help. She cut out some grad hats for me on her Cricut. {I gave my cricut to my daughter as she uses it more than I do} Our school colors are black and orange..I used pumpkin pie. I ran it through my bigshot using the CB folder "Tiny Bubbles." It feels like a basketball! I stamped the grad hats and letters with SU black ink. The congrats is a CB die cut. I found that when working with such skinny letters it's easiest to adhere them with spray glue. I have Elmer's Craft Bond spray adhesive...alittle messy if you get it on your fingers though. I'm glad they're done..just in time too. Thanks Peg! I'll post the other cards from the swap soon.

Cuttlebug Graduation card

I made this graduation card for our son. He graduated from college last spring and the family is celebrating soon, so I thought I better get it ready. We have all been trying to get together since spring, but with work schedules it's been difficult. I made several of these in different colors, depending on the school colors. The directions for the tassel are here:http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=254195. I made a lot of these and I am almost out again. I made them for a swap for a card group I belong too also . I haven't used my cuttlebug for awhile and I really like the texture it adds to a card. I was over on Rebecca's blog lookin' at her cards{http://thereisastampforthat.blogspot.com/ } and saw she had participated in a cuttlebug card challenge on a new blog all about cards made using a cuttlebug. I think it will be fun to follow, see how others are using their bug, and maybe participate in some challenges. Here's the site: http://thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/ .
