CRAFTY CHICKS grad card

This is my last week over at the Krafty Chicks challenge. I had lots of fun sharing my cards for the month of May!
The challenge this week is ALL OCCASION.

Grad cards have been on my mind this spring. I feel so sorry for all of those who did not get to have ceremonies and celebrations this year. Who would ever think we would all be going through a pandemic...yikes!

This card is for a kindergarten graduation, and it was fun to make. The dies are from spellbinders, and I used Doodle Bugs "Hats Off" paper pack.

I hope you will all play along, and many thanks to the Krafty Chicks for letting me play along, too. i have enjoyed being a guest designer!

Have a great day,
Laurie

Supplies:
Paper: SU, Doodlebug Hats Off
Ink: Memento black
Stamps: Taylored Expression
Dies: Spellbinders, Tutti Designs Graduation die for the hat
Other: enamel dots

CHRISTMAS with the KRAFTY CHICKS

Today I'm back as a Guest Designer with the Krafty Chicks
This week it's all about CHRISTMAS.

That's easy for me.
I LOVE making Christmas cards and have quite a collection of Christmas stamps, dies and papers.

I fell in love with this background plate die from Sizzix by Tim Holtz:

I LOVE the Scandinavian look.
I actually love to INLAY all those tiny pieces...yes I do!! It's so fun. But for this card I just cut it out in some wood grained paper and backed it onto some red.

The cute Santa is from Spellbinders and the tiny holly from my days with Cheery Lynn. I added some google eyes for fun!

I hope you get out your Christmas dies and stamps and play along at the Crafty Chicks. Perfect for knocking off another Christmas card for your stash!

Have a great day,
Laurie

KRAFTY CHICKS use a stamp challenge

Hi everyone!

Today I'm over at the Krafty Chicks Challenge blog sharing some of my cards for the month of May as a Guest Designer....so fun! Thanks for asking me chicks!

The challenge this week is to "use a stamp." Which can really be quite a challenge for me... as you know how much I use DIES on my all my cards...lol!

But I do have some fun Art Impression stamps that I love to color every once in awhile. My hubby has a riding lawn mower that he spends lots of time on, so this stamp caught my eye right away. He doesn't quite look like that though...yet anyway...lol!

As you can see, I did add some dies too...I couldn't resist. I used Tutti Designs scalloped stitched nesting rectangles and the circle for a sun. The cloud is from Lawn Fawn. I grabbed the patterned paper from my scrap box....which since I cut all my 12x12  down I find I use alot more now. I cut them into 4 pieces and keep the box near my desk. I'm happy to be putting all that paper to use!

I hope you will stop over at Crafty Chicks, and play along.

Have a great day,
Laurie
