Scallop tag topper punch holders

I had alot of fun making these hand sanitizer holders with the scallop tag topper punch for Easter! I saw the idea at Pink Paper Bakery, you can also find the directions there to make them.

I just used scraps of SU paper and found old designer paper, ribbon, and ink to match...pool party, crisp cantaloupe, and pistachio pudding . The stamp sets are Eggstra Spectacular and the pansy punch bundle. I did add a bit of embossing at the bottom, too.

They look so pretty with the sun shining through the clear pastel colors of hand sanitizer!

Washi tape bread box

Every year I make some pumpkin bread, it's one of my favorite fall recipes. (You can find the recipe on my other blog, Cookin Up North.)

I was headed to a friends house to make cards, so I decided to bring some along with me. I packaged it in these cute little bread boxes that I decorated with washi tape. Here is the link to the tutorial.

Remember the cute tags from last years SU holiday mini? I had some leftover so I used them on these.

I stuck a few loaves of pumpkin bread in the freezer...maybe I'll make some more boxes for those, too!

Our daily bread prayer bookmarks

I made these for my kids. I hope they like them!

There's nothing more comforting to the soul then the 23rd psalm. It's one of my favorites, and probably one of the first things I remember memorizing at Sunday school. When I saw this stamp set in the craft store, it didn't take but a second for me to buy it.

The blue bookmark is for my daughter, and of course I used pool party card stock. I cut it 12 x 2 1/2 " and then scored it at 6".  Then I stamped the sentiment on white with black memento ink. I also stamped some flowers with pool party ink here and there. That stamp is the small flower in the perfectly preserved set from SU.
Funny... I bought that set because I liked the jar in it, but I use this tiny flower stamp the most! Who knew?

I went to Hobby Lobby and found the butterfly charm, and tied that onto some pool party ribbon up at the top.

The brown one is for my son. The only thing different are the colors. I used SU's Natural Composition specialty paper. I LOVE this paper with it's glossy accents! Then I used Brown memento ink and tied it with some SU taffeta and grosgrain ribbon. I found the cross charm at Hobby Lobby, too.

The stamp set came with 2 more bookmarks stamps, but I haven't used those yet. I have a few ideas for them though!

Shadow box

I made this shadow box for my daughter for Christmas this year and just found the photos I took. I meant to post it but I never got around to it!

I got all the supplies at Craft Direct in St. Cloud, one of my favorite craft stores. The picture was from a visit to her place last summer with my mother in law. The 3 of us had such a fun girls weekend... I wanted her to always remember it. My only wish was that we had a picture of  all 3 of us...I guess we'll just have to have another girls weekend again and find someone to take one!

Sending you SMORE love......

I have been digging in my stamp drawers again and found this smore stamp I bought at a garage sale. I think it's so cute and needs to be used, so I made this card with it!

The sentiment I just did on the computer...I have heard this saying before and thought it was so sweet. I also made a little smores kit to go with it:

Here's what the set looks like together:

So much fun to make...and to give!

Paper: SU real red, black, white
Stamps: Inky Antics
Ink: SU creamy caramel
Other: ribbon,circle punches.eyelet, heart punch

Frogs!

One of my friends made some of these cute nugget frogs. She found the directions here.

I liked them so much I made a bunch for cards!

Here are a couple I just finished:

I did change mine a bit. I used the circle punch for the body...drew the mouth in and use the flower punch for the feet. Soon as I get a chance I'll be finishing some more frog cards...I still have about 8 frogs to use up!

"You rule" back to school treats

I went back to school today! {I work in the autism department.} Here's a few treats I made to bring along.

The bags are called 1x8 lip and tape from http://www.gtbag.com/polyproliptape.html. I filled them with M&M's and added a scalloped circle topper. I stamped "back to school" on one side and "you rule" on the back. They are alot of fun to make and look so cute!

You may remember I made some for the 4th too:

Let's see. I guess I could make some for Halloween.....Thanksgiving....Christmas....Here I go!

Thank you bottles

Hi! These are the water bottle thank yous I made for my weight loss buddies at TOPS. Last week I met my weight loss goal and became a KOPS. They had a sweet party for me.... so at this weeks meeting I wanted to say, "Thanks." I ended up making 24. I was able to use a lot of scraps form my scrap box, and it felt good to use some of them up. That box gets so full!

Two tags purse

I made another two tag purse! They are just too much fun...I think I'll make a few more while I'm at it. Here's the link again in case you want to try some: http://stampvamps.com/?p=741

Lets make cards!

Happy St. Patricks Day!

These matchboxes are a total case from Dawn McVey. I thought they would be fun invites for friends...with alittle something special tucked inside....buttons and ribbon!

The matchbox size is 9 1/4" x 3", scoring at 3/4", 5", and 5 1/4". A small bag fits inside nicely.

Have a fun day!

Paper: non SU raspberry,aqua mist,
ocean tides, lemon SU kraft, white, and apricot appeal

Stamps: non SU

Ink: SU pink passion, pixie pink, apricot appeal, sage shadow

Other: SU eyelet border punch, non SU buttons and scallop rectangle dies

Love you box

Hi! I'm on a roll making valentines projects...here's another little box I cut out using one of my new cartridges. I added a wide oval stamped with "Love You" {from Well Scripted} and also a felt heart. I plan to stick a few chocolates inside!

Snowman

I saw this cute little snowman SOMEWHERE but I can't find the link. It's made with a 3x3 envelope. You close it and cut the top off. The bottom corners are just bent back. Decorate it and add wire for the handles. That's it..very easy! I tucked a few treats inside.

Update: Here is the link to the snowman. Thanks Nancy! It was driving me crazy trying to find it!

Christmas Tin

Good Morning! Last night I made some caramels and toffee. Then I decorated this tin to put some of the caramels in for a little gift. Remember the felt flurries from last years Holiday mini? I found a few I had left and have been using them up. I thought the red one looked nice with this years Christmas paper. I haven't had as much time as I thought I would to use my new Christmas papers and stamps. It's Christmas next week already and I have so many things I had wanted to make...oh well..I guess there's always next year!

Holiday Treat

I'm starting to get my stocking stuffers ready. For this topper I used a 3 1/2" circle and folded it in half. I made quite a few of these as they were so fast and easy to put together. I had to try really hard not to eat the M&Ms. I wanted too, but I didn't!

Paper: real red, white
Ink: real red
Stamps: Holiday Best
Other: bag, ribbon, dew drops

R I P

My friend cut these coffins out on her..well, what should I call it..."cutting machine?" {Because of the new SU agreement demos had to sign concerning non-SU products, I guess I need to be creative with my choice of words. } Tucked inside is a small bag with candy corn. I had fun decorating them!

Book marks

I made a couple bookmarks for my kids. I've been busy getting their boxes ready to send. About this time every year I send them a care package. This started during their college years, and one IS still in grad school, but I have so much fun with this I will probably always do it... school or not! Last year I concentrated on Halloween, but this time I have a variety of items. I include some favorite treats, a few things I've made and a gift card. I'll show you my gift cards I made in another post. have a great day!

Wide Oval Pumpkin Basket

Aren't these sweet? I saw them over on http://inkingidaho.blogspot.com/2009/09/super-exciting-news-and-pumpkin-basket.html and had to try one. She has some simple and easy directions to follow. I put a few candy corn inside a small bag and tied it with some pumpkin pie ribbon. So tiny! So cute!
Paper: pumpkin pie, old olive, chocolate chip

Ink: pumpkin pie

Other: leaf punch, wide oval punch, pumpkin pie ribbon, leaf brads

A few more Halloween matchbox treats

Here are the last of them! Really. I THINK. They are just so much fun to make....

I'm busy today making some Halloween and Christmas cards. A few recipe cards, too. It's a rainy, gloomy day... just perfect for stamping. I'll be posting them this week.
