The Card Concept..today is all about celebrating you!

Hi everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at The Card Concept..... here's the sweet inspirational photo:

I LOVE daisies, so I decided to make one the focal point of my card. I wasn't sure about the colors. Grey is not a color that I use much.... so this was a challenge for me.
But I found that I really like the three colors together! Especially after seeing the DT's gorgeous cards, so be sure to check them out!

First I used a Memory Box textured diamond stencil with some SU summer sun ink for my background. I cut it out with a MB cross stitched rectangle. Then I cut out a MB flourish, some leaves and a daisy with my SU die. I adhered them onto the background and stamped the sentiment in black from Penny Black's "Sprinkles and Smiles." I also added a few sequins from Lawn Fawn, and  a button in the center of the daisy.

Hope you play along with us at The Card Concept!
