The Card Concept's first challenge of 2016!

                                                                        Hi everyone!

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the challenge at The Card Concept...the first one for 2016!

Such a cute photo!

I chose to work with the colors in the photo and made a snowflake in real red, chocolate chip and white with Reverse Confetti's "Layered Snowflake" die. It was one of my Christmas gifts... and I LOVE it!
It took me awhile to put it together, as my snowflake has about 30 pieces. I made a few more that have even more pieces....it's so fun to put them together.

The pattern on the mittens reminded me of some card candy a friend had given me....from Taylored Expressions, "Sweater Weather" textured cutting plate in crumb cake. I used that for my background.
In the middle of the snowflake I added a bow with a small tag. The sentiment on the tag is from Taylored Expressions "Ready, Set, Snow," stamped in black.

At the bottom I added the word "snow" in real red. ( I also got the "Winter Words" dies from Reverse Confetti for Christmas.)

This was fun!
I think I will be spending MANY cozy days in my craft room making more of these cute snowflakes.

Head on over to The Card Concept and play along! We would love to have you join us!
