This recipe is right off the bag of hash browns. They are not the frozen ones...but the ones in the refrigerated section at the store. I often serve them with ham. This time I melted some butter and added some crushed Ritz crackers for a topping. I think they take a bit longer then 45 minutes..but then I always cook things longer. I don't put as much onion in either and sometimes I don't put it in at all.

I think the crushed crackers on top make it perfect! Fun paper. It's so hard to use it when that's all you've got!
