Birthday dessert

It was Brent's Birthday last week and he requested this dessert instead of cake. He loves cheesecake. This recipe is light and fluffy! You could add any fruit or pie filling on top...I used strawberries. You could easily substitute low fat ingredients and use Splenda instead of the sugar, too.

Some of his co-workers made him a cheesecake at work too...so he's been a happy guy! I notice he had plenty to say about that cheesecake, like how good the chocolate layer was, how rich and creamy it was..but he never brought a piece home for me!!!!! I guess I'll just have to get the recipe!

Oh! Heaven. I have everything to make this, too, except graham crackers. It looks so good. And just a random question, I love the plates that look like this that you sometimes take your food pictures on. Where did you get them? They are fabulous!

Hi Rebecca! My plates are called Sorento and I got them at Herbergers and Yonkers stores. I think they have them at Macy's too. I love them...trouble is they keep coming out with more pieces I just have to add to my set! Thanks, Laurie
