5 minute bread

Hi!

This is the recipe I have been having alot of fun with this past week. I'd been reading about it on several food blogs and thought I needed to give it a try. The recipe page I made up above has only the ingredients listed on it, not all the directions. If you decide to try this yourself, you will need to read all about it here:http://www.google.com/url?sa=D&q=http://motherearthnews.com/Real-Food/Artisan-Bread-In-Five-Minutes-A-Day.aspx&usg=AFQjCNGv0bllwnkdphdHoeuAvfLCrHiAIQ

We really liked it! Not only was it tasty, but it was nice to have on hand in the frig whenever I wanted to bake fresh bread. It was so simple and the directions were easy to follow. I don't have a pizza peel..I just used a cookie sheet. I did put a broiler pan with water on the bottom shelf like suggested. I just grabbed a hunk from my frig, added a bit of flour to shape it into a ball, cut a few slits on top and let it rest 40 minutes. I preheated the oven to 450 and set the cookie sheet inside. When it was ready to bake I took the sheet out and sprinkled it with cornmeal and set the loaf on it and baked it for about 30 minutes. This is what the bread looked like:

And here is the dough used for a pizza crust:

I haven't tried any other variations yet, but the sweet rolls sound good!
