Less is More....gold sympathy cards
I don't really use the color gold much, and if I do, it's for embossing. So when I read the challenge was "gold" at Less is More, I reached for my gold embossing powder.
I knew my new SU stamp set Pleasant Poppies would look awesome embossed in gold. Trouble was my stamp was HUGE....I mean, it doesn't even fit on a regular card size.
So, I cut it. What you see is just a part of the stamp. I also embossed the sentiment in gold, and scored a few lines at the bottom of the card.
Here's another card I made, using the same stamp sets and gold embossing powder.
Check out the other cards at Less is More!

These are gorgeous. I love them both, but especially the second one. It's just perfectly clean and simple. Ann Y.
These are beautiful! Great idea to cut the stamp, did you really cut the stamp? Or just partly ink it?
The cards are very elegant. I like the idea of using gold in a sympathie card.

Two beautiful cards, that design makes a fabulous sympathy card. Must take some stamping out when it is so tall. FAB embossing and so elegant.
Two very beautiful cards, well done :) Viv xx
Just beautiful Laurie, perfectly created
Thanks so much
