Festive Friday Challenge

I thought I would try a new challenge blog I found again while surfing cards on the net. This one is called Festive Friday. The cards on this site are AWESOME.... so check it out!

Here is the inspiration photo:

I just happen to be at the lake again, with few stamping supplies along. BUT I did pack a container with DP, and inside were a bunch of things I had stamped at a friends house a long time ago....
 for future use.
 All Christmas things!

Luckily a few were on vanilla paper, as I wanted to use a piece of plaid DP with reds and creams.

When I look at the picture the tree reminds me of a country Christmas, and you can't get more country than plaid!
I also chose to use some twine, to round out the country feel.
I really had fun making this card, I guess because I was so limited in supplies, it seemed like even more of a challenge!

You can check out the other cards here.

Stamps: SU More Merry Wishes, Special Season
Ink: SU cherry cobbler
Paper: SU very vanilla, cherry cobbler, and retired DP
Other: SU pearls and twine
