Stampin Up Fall Foliage

Hi everybody!

Yes. I am  now making fall cards. It does seem early, but....

I made a bunch this week. It just seems fitting as everywhere I look there's back to school stuff. People are pinning Halloween on Pinterest. I guess it all just got me in the mood!

Then I noticed the challenge at less is more is a one layer foliage card. So I grabbed SU's Fall Foliage, and some fall colored inks.

I do not like making one layer cards. There, I said it. They are a challenge! But I guess this IS a challenge, after all, so I should expect that!

But I made the bottom card first. It's not a one layer card. I made it just to get warmed up for the one layer card. Then I just kept making them and pretty soon I had a set.

I really had a hard time getting decent photos. I did some scoring on all of them, but it didn't show very well. The yellow is much softer on the cards, too.

Be sure to check out the other one layer cards at less is more!

Paper: White textured
Ink: SU brown sugar, ruby red, old olive, summer sun
Stamps: SU fall foliage, work of art, holidays and wishes, stampabilities "we give thanks"

What a fab LIM card. I love the overall effect, it's so open but the colours do blend so well !!

What a beautiful set of cards, so glad your 'warm up' to one layer sparked them all!
