I have another card to share today that goes in my ever growing box of cards for the fall charity event next month.
This one I am entering at Curtain Call.
Lovely Leaves.
I DO think leaves are lovely!
My mom used to love fall, it was her favorite time of year. I remember when I was a kid, her mom would come from California and spend a few months in the fall "up north" with us.
Every afternoon, they would hop in the car and go for a drive to look at the colors of the leaves.
You can imagine how beautiful the drives were around the lakes, and they would ooh and aah at the sun shining brightly on all the reds, yellows, and oranges.
I wasn't in school yet, so I got to go along. The best part was along the drive, they would stop for PIE!
Those were some fun memories.
For this fall card I grabbed a few of the leaves I had already cut out with my IO leaf dies from a few projects I made earlier. I backed them on a strip of Stampin Up DP, and added a button and some twine. The sentiment is also from SU, stamped on a circle with baked brown sugar.
I have to admit I am looking forward to fall, and watching the leaves change colors.
BUT....
I am not looking forward to the cold winter that follows!

Have a nice weekend,

I'm looking forward to Fall too, Laurie. I love your memory of leaf peeping with your mother and grandmother. I'll bet that was apple pie! These are some more pretty leaves. I love the button and twine!
Great CAS card! Thanks for joining us at The Curtain Call.
Very pretty Laurie. Love the patterns on the leaves. Nice colors too. Thank you for playing along with us at the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.
