The Paper Players..... a sketch from Sandy

Happy Sunday everyone!

This beautiful, crisp, clean fall weather has put me in a happy mood this week. I love taking long walks and enjoying this time of year. In between making cards that is! Today I'm actually sharing two that I made for the sketch challenge at The Paper Players:

Why two, you ask? I made the Ho Ho Ho first, then decided to try a 3 x 3 note card with the mini buttons, just for fun.

That ended up being a problem, though. Then I couldn't decide which to use for the challenge! I finally decided on the first card.

So what do you think? Did I choose the right one, or do you like this one better:

As you can probably tell, I really liked this sketch. It was hard to stop at two cards. The DT came up with some great ideas, so be sure to head on over and check them out!

I like them both...I love all the stitching effect on the first and its sharp cleanness...great design and I love all the buttons with twine on the second one. I would probably gone with the 2nd....pity you could not enter both!

They are both wonderful, Laurie! The HOHOHO card is such a clever take on the sketch and the buttons on the 2nd--or is it the 1st?--are darling!

Oh dear, they are both very cute! I love buttons but they're hard to mail, but on a 3x3, I think they're perfect. And I love anything stitched, so I like the ho ho ho one too!!! Don't make me decide!

Both great cards Laurie - I couldn't stop at one card for this week's sketch either! I love the HOHOHO letters against the background paper, but the buttons are super cute too - its a close call!

Laurie, looks like several of us were undecided and made two cards, LOL! The ho ho ho one is an amazing take on the sketch and I love the holly leaves and berries. Your 3x3 card is absolutely adorable and I love those cute buttons! Way to rock the sketch, twice!

Hmmm.... I can see why it was hard to choose. Both cards are fantastic. The Ho Ho Ho is a super clever use of the sketch and because it's so original I think you selected the right card. The button card is darling and it's such a fun size.

Oh Laurie, these cards are both fabulous! I LOVE both of them. They are so different, so I can't compare. I think the Ho Ho Ho card is amazing. I love your take on the sketch and the holly looks fantastic! I would love to CAS this card. The little buttons are adorable and perfect on a 3 X 3. Great job! XX

Laurie, I can't make up my mind which one you should have chosen. They are both fabulous. I do love the HO HO HO, because it's such a creative take on the sketch, but I love the little buttons, too. Great cards
