Paper Players goes Vintage

Happy Sunday!

Today there is another fun challenge over at The Paper Players...this time from LeAnne:

My first vintage card ended up looking quite a bit like the inspiration photo!

I happened to have a bird cage die cut that a friend gave me a few years ago, so I decided to use that.  I adhered it to some vintage looking patterned paper, and added some greens, a bird, a rose, and pearls. The sentiment is stamped in SU's Baked Brown Sugar from Taylored Expressions Many Mini's.

Since the card looked SO much like the photo, I decided to make another vintage card, going in a completely different direction:

This time I went with lots of layers, and used Stampin' Up's Santa from last years holiday catty. The sentiment is from Lizzie Anne.

I really love the look of vintage cards, but I hardly ever make them, so this was a fun challenge for me!

Head on over to The Paper Players and play along!
