Paper Players...grateful for you!

This week Ann has a " thank you" for the challenge at The Paper Players:

I chose to go with the brightly colored leaves on the photo, and made a "Thanks"giving card.

Instead of using a "Thank you" sentiment, I have "Grateful" on the front, and inside it says,"for you." Below that I stamped,"Happy Thanksgiving."

The leaves are cut out with Impression Obsessions Leaves dies. I used some alcohol ink papers I had made to cut them out. (You can find out more about alcohol inks here) The word grateful is from Papertrey, cut out in gold foil.

I found some snippets in my scrap box that I thought would work well for the background..a piece of already embossed baked brown sugar, some rust, and an old piece of patterned paper. I'm entering this over at Pixie's Snippets Playground.

Head on over to The Paper Players and play along!
