Paper Players Design Team

Yes....you read that right..... I know I just said good bye as Guest Designer at PP, but surprise! I was asked to stay on!

So this post is my VERY first as a design team member and I am so happy and excited to be staying on with this fun and talented group!

Here is the challenge this week from Anne Marie:

My recycled item is the red border....I made so many of them for a Christmas card I planned to make in quantities, but never did. I hate to throw them away, so I made a card with one and some new dies I got for Christmas.

Yes, I am happy to say Santa DID leave me some new things for my craft room! I was wondering if he would after I read the poem "Crafter's Night Before Christmas "at Di's blog the other day....which you can find here. I hope he left you some new toys too!

Be sure to head on over to The Paper Players and play along!

Paper: Stampin' Up real red, white, black, and lawn fawn "snowy days"
Ink: Stampin' Up black
Stamps: My Favorite Things " Baby It's cold Outside"
Dies: Lil Inker stitched rectangles, My favorite Things banners, and Impression Obsession igloo with penguin, hat from Cheery Lynn's Santa's laundry

CUTE! I so love this card! If you weren't able to send out holiday cards, then you can certainly get started on next year's! This one is the perfect way to begin.

Hi Laurie - great reuse of your pre-cut frame - I hoard things like that too, seems criminal to throw them away! So pleased that you are staying on at PP too - we are going to have such a fun time!

Such an adorable card! The Santa hat is perfect on your little penguin! And don't look at it as never finishing your Christmas cards...look at it as you are working ahead for this year's Christmas cards! lol, it's never too early, right?!
