Hi everyone!
Today the challenge at The Paper Players is:
Such pretty colors!
I decided to make a spring thank you card with Stampin Up's butterfly thinlits using some strawberry slush ink. I sponged it over the paper before I die cut. I used the pistachio for the leaves and background. The sequins were my touch of coastal cabana.
Head on over to The Paper Players and join the fun with this pretty color challenge!

So pretty. I love that giant butterfly.
Oh my! this is so pretty, I love the effect you have created on the butterfly with your inks, and your close association to the colours. Simply gorgeous. xx
That butterfly is awesome, Laurie! I love that you cut it from patterned paper and the stitched panels make it looks so finished.
So pretty, Laurie! I love that you used the Irresistibly Yours paper to cut the butterfly!

So pretty, Laurie! I love how you sponged the paper before die cutting the butterfly. The pattern looks so fabulous and it really pops. The sequins finish everything off perfectly, too. Beautiful!
Oh what a gorgeous design.

Ooooh, I love how you sponged the cardstock before cutting out the butterfly--what a gorgeous effect. Love all the clean, white space with little pops of the pistachio and coastal cabana. Beautiful!
Laurie this card is beautiful - the Strawberry Slush butterfly is stunning! I was curious as to how you achieved the effect - I'm guessing you sponged onto the SAB embossed paper, it looks great. Thanks for rocking my colour challenge this week!
