Back to school!

Hi everyone!

It's back to school time already here in Minnesota, and most schools open after Labor Day.  I have to confess that I miss the days of getting ready for school. I loved the clothes shopping with my kids....AND buying the school supplies! Which folder to choose? That was always a BIG decision. My daughter went for the cute puppies while my son preferred the sports ones. Those are some fun memories!

I decided to make a "back to school" card for the challenge this week at The Paper Players. Nance is hosting a Tic tac favorite!

I went diagonal, ribbon,embossing,and sequins.

Be sure to head on over to The Paper Players and join the fun!

Paper: SU white, real red, Doodle Bug back to school
Ink: Black Memento, Copics
Stamps:Westwater Enterprises
Dies: MFT Blueprints #20, pierced banners, zig Zag stitched circles
Other: SU ribbon, sequin

Great card! Perfect for back to school. I love back to school shopping much new paper stuff, even if it's not for paper crafting, it's still fun to get it! :)

Love your bright back to school Laurie - what a great mix of patterns and papers! I have mixed feeling about back to school time; I love having the children home to do things with, yet am relieved when they go back to school to have a tidy house once more! Mine are back next week - yay!!
