Poppystamps Luxe poinsettia

Hi everyone!

I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but I've already started making my Christmas cards. They are my very favorite to make!

I just love a cozy day in my craft room making Christmas cards. Lately I've been watching Christmas movies on Hallmark channel as I craft. Yes, they have already started their count down to Christmas! Don't judge me! I can't help myself!

As I make a card, I think about who I am going to send it too. What colors do they like? What verse should I put inside for them?

When I saw the challenge at Poppystamps was "Home for the Holiday's" it reminded me of my mom, and my childhood home. Around Christmas we were always buying supplies to make something...advent wreaths, ornaments, Christmas magnets, candles...it was SO much fun! I guess making cards in a way makes me feel like I am carrying on the tradition. So I'm entering this Christmas card at Poppystamps  in memory of her and our crafting days!
Inside I stamped."Rejoicing with you in the birth of Christ our Lord, and wishing you all the blessings of His love."

I used my new favorite dies from Poppystamps, the Luxe Poinsettia background and outline. You can see how pretty the outline is here:

I've made several cards with this die, and have lots more ideas on how to use it. It's gorgeous with foil and glitter paper, too!

I'm entering this at:

Fabulous as always. That poinsettia is a real show stopper. Loved your comment about Hallmark channel. I make a lot of my flowers as I watch the Hallmark movies. I store the flowers in a box and when I need a flower embelli it is ready to go. Spent some time on your blog Sunday looking over your past posts. I really love how you make CAS beautiful
