Penny Black Sprinkles and Smiles

Good Morning!

Over at Global Design Project, a new to me challenge....it's case the designer:

I don't usually do lots of layers and textures, but I gave it a go! I used the butterfly as the focal point of my card, as Michelle did. Then I went off on my own.

I really like monochromatic cards....I used just Coastal Cabana with white, both favorite colors of mine. I LOVE white, and you will see it on almost every card I make. I'm not sure why...guess I just like the crisp clean feel it adds to a card!

The sentiment is from Penny Black called Sprinkles and Smiles. You can find the " sparkle "on my card in two places, the sequins and Wink on the butterfly. I forgot to take a close up of it so you can see it better, but it's there!

I'm also entering this at:

SIP ( fave colors)
SIP Challenge 36 - Card Maker's Choice 800

The Friday Mashup (birthday)

Have a great day!

Paper: SU white, Coastal cabana
Ink: SU black
Stamps:Penny Black Sprinkles and Smiles
Dies: Memory Box butterflies,MFT zig zag stitched circles, pierced fancy flourish
Other: sequins, Wink, Cuttle bug divine swirl and Foulard embossing folders

You did a great job on casing Michelle's card, because I think your card turned out even more beautiful than Michelle's card (sorry Michelle!)! Love the colors, the different embossed layers and stunning butterfly.
