Snowflakes!

Hi everyone!

I decided to get a little inky today and make a card for a few challenges:

SIP 42 Color Challenge 800

Cuttlebug Mania monochromatic

I chose to use a stamp from Recollections that I bought at Michael's several years ago. I thought it would work well for " using a sentiment as a focal point" for the Merry Monday challenge. The snowflakes are from Stampin Up stamped on a Memory Box cross stitched embossed frame. For the blues I used a Hero Arts Ombre ink pad.

Funny thing..this morning while I was making this snowflake card, I looked out the window and it was actually snowing! Just the kind that melts when it touches the ground, though, thank goodness! The grass is still green and and spring is on it's way!

Paper: SU white
Ink: Hero Arts Ombre
Stamps: Recollections, SU Christmas Punch
Dies: Memory Box cross stitched frame borders
Other: enamel dot

Beautiful card!! And I love that sentiment. It is snowing here, too, in northern Wisconsin. Unfortunately, our is adding up. Mother Nature didn't get the memo that spring is here, I guess. Thank you for sharing your beautiful card with us at Stamp, Ink, Paper!!
