I was visiting blogs just now and saw this Hop to Stop for Domestic Violence .
I lost a friend and neighbor to domestic violence, so I wanted to participate to show support for this worthy cause. You can read more about it here. I agree, together we can make a difference!
I had no idea that purple was the color for National Domestic Violence Awareness, nor that 1 in 3 women will experience domestic violence in their lifetime. This is so tragic!
So..... here is the card that I made in white, with purple as my focal point:
I did quite a few layers, starting out with an embossed background that a friend gave me. It reminded me of my Memory Box billow flower die, so I cut out a few and added purple enamel dots in the centers.
The sentiment is from Impression Obsession, white embossed on a MFT black pierced tag.
You can check out the other cards at the hop
here.
Paper: SU
Ink: SU
Stamps: Impression Obsession Thoughts
Dies: Impression Obsession Thoughts, MFt pierced tags, and circle, Memory Box billow flowers and leaves
Other: embossing folder, enamel dots

So sorry to read about your neighbour. Your card is gorgeous, so much texture and beauty. Wonderful sentiment too.
Laurie how tragic that you lost a friend to domestic violence, that's just awful. Lovely card and thank you for bringing this problem to our attention.
I love this gorgeous card! Just beautiful!
Wow!! This is absolutely GORGEOUS!! I just love the dimension and pops of purple in your design! So sorry about your neighbor, but glad that you have joined in to raise awareness! :) Thank you!
So sorry to hear about your lost of a friend to domestic violence. We can't imagine who or how women go through life living with such a monster. The abusers need to receive the same treatment. Your card is so beautiful and the texture just adds to the beauty. What is the name of the design on the embossing folder you used or the company that makes it. It would go perfectly with my Swirly Scribbles die that I use on my cards.
Sorry, I don't know the name of the folder..it was a friend of mine from quite awhile ago.
Laurie
This is a gorgeous design. Love those flowers & the lavender enamel dots.
Giiiiirrrrrrlllll you know how to work a die cut like nobody's business! I love this card! It's beautiful. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your neighbor. Domestic violence is such a real thing and it's sad that it's not talked about more. Thank you so much for joining in the Hop to Stop and helping to raise awareness for victims of domestic violence.
