Today we are in the middle of our first snow up in northern MN!
Before I get on with my card, here are a few pics to share:
My hubby and I have different ideas of how to enjoy the snow....he loves being outside and I'm an inside gal.
We are both enjoying the day!
The card I'm sharing today was made with Cheery Lynn's Funny Dog die. Today SHE....check out her hair bow.... found a Christmas stocking. (BTW..check out Verna's blog...she has some cute projects made with this die, too!)
The stocking is from Cheery Lynn's Whimsical Christmas...I cut one off the clothesline;) The tiny bow is actually from Cheery Lynn's Merry Christmas gift envelope set. I backed it all on some Tim Holtz trees. The sentiment is from Poppystamps Christmas Greetings.
I'm entering this at:
Double D (traditional Christmas colors)
SIP (CAS Christmas)
Have a great day!

Oh Laurie your card is so cute and OMG LOOK AT ALL THAT WHITE STUFF! Holy Moly ... you can keep it there! I'm not in any hurry for it ... in fact, I just came inside from mowing over leaves (again) and it's a balmy 72 degrees here in Ohio!
LOL ... I like your version of what to do when you have a snow storm of course since I'm the equipment runner in the family, I will be the one outside running the snowblower when this all comes our way. Of course that is only IF we have to go somewhere ... we are both retired so chances are we can follow your lead and just sit and enjoy it's beauty! LOL Thanks for some AWESOME PHOTOS ... truly enjoyed my visit to your blog today! HUGS
LOL oops! Got so involved with your photos and the white stuff I totally forgot to thank you for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Traditional Christmas Colors’ challenge! We hope you’ll come back often.

OMG, this is the cutest dog card! But, wow, the snow. I'm looking at blue skies and an even bluer ocean with plenty of sunshine outside my window. Stay warm and safe (and I think you have the right idea to spend the day). Have a great weekend.
WOW!! You REALLY got some snow up there!!! We haven't got any as of yet, but it supposed to really drop way down tonight in temps. I don't mind snow, I just don't like the ice is all. As for your card, it is absolutely adorable!! I love the fun scene you've created for him too!! :) Stay safe and warm!!
The card is cute but OMG Laurie - the snow!!! Keep warm and get crafting I say!
Fabulous card Laurie - wonderful dies you used as well. LOVE the snow photos - it's good to stay cosy or even go out for a tramp through the snow and then come home to hot chocolate!
Hugs

You have me shivering. That is a lot of snow. Love these cute cards. I follow Verna too so I have seen how you both are using them. I am going to have to get this idea and then just CASE your cards. lol. another cute one.
I love, love how you used that cute dog die. He is so cute and there are so many ways to have him used in card designs. Looks like something our dog would do as he is always running off with things that you lay down for a minute and then he snatches and runs off. I spent the blizzard time inside making cards too. I hope we return to nicer weather but I fear our winter type will be the norm now.
Laurie, I love your doggie Christmas card! That die cut is too cute. Love the layers you created with all of the dies. And, wow! That is a lot of snow! Thanks for joining the Double D "Traditional Christmas" Challenge.
