Dies R Us "Winter Blues"

The challenge at Dies R Us is "Winter Blues."

Our Challenge Blog

I kind of took that literally and made a very BLUE card!

I used Lawn Fawn's leafy tree and cut it out in white. Then I made a little winter scene using the snowman from Elizabeth Crafts. The cute string of lights is from Cheery Lynn. I cut out a hill of snow with Lawn Fawns stitched hillside border dies.

I guess the lights (and sentiment) make this a Christmas card, but actually we still have our outdoor lights up! It's too cold to take them down, and probably will be for a long time.

So I will still be turning them on every night...I love the cheerful glow outside!

I can't wait to see the gallery...it will be so fun to see what everyone came up with for this fun challenge!

What a fun winter card with the sweet snowman! Love how he is holding the broom and a light! Awesome strung lights in the tree, too!

I love your cool card design and it looks great with all that blue. Our lights are up but no longer burning. We have to wait until spring or a January thaw to get them down. LOL

What a great scene with all those die cuts--love this, Laurie! I tried to get hubby to leave up the outside lights through January--my favorite part of the holiday decorations--enjoy them!
