Impression Obsession Golf Set

Hi everyone!

This is the card I made for my son's birthday recently. VERY simple and SO EZ, in fact it took just 5 minutes to make!

I was at our local craft store when I saw this stamp set from Impression Obsession. I thought it would be a perfect addition for my sports stamp collection, so in my cart it went. Then I added some fun paper and I have to admit a few other things.....LOL!

The golf ball and tee I already had, it's from Taylored Expression. I stamped and cut and adhered ....and before I knew it, it was done.

I started a new tradition for my kids recently. On their birthday they usually get money and a gift to open. I still do that, but I added a gift basket with some of their favorites. Jalapeno popcorn, Dot's pretzels, couple bottles of Bai, you get the idea!

I have SO much fun picking out the things to go in it! I made his golf themed this year and added golf balls, socks, small sun tan lotion, etc. I found an awesome crate at Marshal Home Goods to use for the basket, that he could use for storage after wards. So this card went along perfectly! He REALLY liked it.

Now I'm going to start getting a gift box together for my daughter. Several years ago I started sending a box to her every summer. At that time my son was in college and I was making him treat boxes quite often. ( for 8 years actually...he is a pharmacist)  I thought she might think it was fun to get one too, and I was right, she loved it:)

I used to work at a gift shop in the summers for many years, and when we would get some fun things in, I would buy a few to stick away for her box. Even though I don't work there anymore, I still carry on the tradition.
And of course, a handmade card will find it's way inside the box!

Wow! What a fabulous card for being so quick and easy! That's a stamp you could use over and over for each of your golfing friends and family members. Well... at least once each. Love the idea of gift baskets, too. It's my favorite kind of gift, especially for friends and family who already have everything they need. Little things add up to a lot of fun!

This card made me laugh out loud! That patterned paper is awesome and could not look any better than paired with that fabulous sentiment.
