Christmas Carols for Dies R Us

The theme at Dies R Us is "Christmas Carol." I went with Joy to the World...one of my favorites.

The card set I made is VERY simple! I used just 2 dies and a sentiment. The main die is from Sue Wilson called, "Wise Men mini striplet." I think it's just gorgeous and so elegant!

I've cut it out in SO many colors, but for this set
I used purple and blue shimmer paper.

I added some white holly with silver berries from Cheery Lynn to complete the card. The sentiment is from CAS-Friday's Snowy Sayings.

I made a ton of these! I also made them for a couple card groups too.

Here's a list of the dies I used:

I hope you will join us for this fun challenge at Dies R Us!

What a great card idea for making a lot of cards at once. I still need to get the holly die from CL as I've seen you use it a few times and love it. I always get so much inspiration from you, Laurie!

One of the many things I find inspiring about your cards is the way you mix up sizes -- giant holly die against the detailed striplet, for instance. I wouldn't think to do that, but I love it! I see how easily you could make up a bunch of these in different colors. Gorgeous!

These are just so beautiful Laurie. I like how you have placed the holly over the striplet. very classy and I am sure a winner in any colour way.

That holly is so big, I am not sure how I would have used it. Pair it with the wise men was a little bit of brilliance. Very pretty!
