Inkspirational "Stamping Only" Challenge

Today I'm guest designing over at Inkspirational!

 Yay!

And.....the challenge is STAMPING ONLY, no designer paper or.....dies!

Most of you that read my blog regularly know my thing is DIES! I use them on almost every card I make....LOL.

It was a real challenge for me not to reach for a die.

But I did it! Not one die on this card.

I stamped the image from Mama Elephant's "So Many Snowmen" in black and colored in some of the snowmen hats and scarves. To make the snow I used a toothbrush to spatter the white over the card.

The sentiment is from Concord and 9th's "Holy Night," stamped in black. I also added a twine bow with a couple of bells at the top.

I really had a lot of fun making this card, and playing along in the challenge! I hope you head over to Inkspirational and play along!!!

Supplies:

Paper: SU
Ink: SU black,white
Stamps:Mama Elephant So Many Snowmen, Concord and 9th Holy Night
Other: twine and bells

So well done for breaking out of your comfort zone and not using dies - and how fabulously you rose to the challenge. This is a fun card - 'clean' but with great visual impact. I love that you kept to just two colours for the snowman clothes. The bells are a great embellishment. Thank you for being our wonderful Guest Designer at Inkspirational.

Wonderful card, Laurie. I don't miss the dies on this with the stamp being as big as it is.

Your gang of snowpeople have me smiling alllll over my face. The red/green combination is delightfully festive! Applauding that you resisted using dies (which I reach for constantly, too!) and had fun in creating this gem! Thank you so much for being our GD for this challenge; you will spark a LOT of inspiration with these cutie-pies!
