Hi everyone!
My fave cards to make are holiday.
Any holiday...but if I'm honest prolly Christmas are at the top.
I make them all year long. I have so many pieces of beautiful Christmas paper though, that I have challenged myself to make a bunch of cards this year using as much of it as I can. (That way I'll have room to buy more....lol!!!)
SOOOO....I grabbed a piece of one I REALLY like...plaid with gold. I backed it on some crumb cake to give it a country feel.
Then I stamped Taylored Expressions Iconic Christmas Wishes bulb with some gold ink, and used the matching die to cut it out. The bow is cut from gold foil with Penny Blacks Whirl Wreath. I added some tiny holly from Cheery Lynn and a couple of gold bells.
I'm entering this at:
Have a great day!

This card is so very classy Laurie. I love red and gold together...stunning! xx
Stunning card!!!
You visualized and produced an absolutely gorgeous holiday card! The gold with red -- wow -- and kraft to keep it cozy -- love it!
This is so gorgeous and although you did get the country feel I also see the elegance of it as well.
Yes, Laurie you have so much pretty paper and you know how to use it so beautifully. I see your cards, buy a paper pack and it sits there because I don't know what to do with it, or I use it and I don't like the out come. I love the thin strips of craft that you left on the sides and your ornament is stunning.
