Impression Obsession Skaters

Hi everyone!

The Dies R Us challenge this month is "red."

Our Challenge Blog

That's easy with all the Valentine cards I've been making...I'm using lots of red this month!

Since it's still very much winter time up here...I pulled out the cute skating couple from Impression Obsession. The skating rinks and lakes are filled with skaters. At our school they even take the kids to the city rink for gym class. They love it!

I thought the skaters looked cute adhered to a heart with the sentiment "love warms our hearts." I added some bakers twine and backed it all on some gingham paper.

Here's a list of the dies I used available at Dies R Us:

I hope you will join us!

Beautiful card Laurie!! The gingham background is perfect for your skaters...interesting post about the skaters and gym class in your 'neck of the woods'...it's plenty cold here for that too, but they would never do that here, actually probably they have never thought of it LOL!!

Love red, love your card! The black and white checks are fabulous. That sounds like a fun school activity. Here it would have to be the roller rink, but I don't think they do that.

Stunning card, wow! I love the graphic color palette and those silhouettes just pop! Beautiful details and yet the outcome does not look cluttered at all. Wonderful design. Thanks for joining us at TIME OUT Challenges!

Isn't it amazing how eye catching black silhouettes are?!! These are just gorgeous and look even more fabulous with the red heart background. The sentiment is so sweet and the b/w gingham paper suits it perfectly. So very glad you joined us at TIME OUT!
