The challenge from Ann at The Paper Players is:
Wildlife/ animal
I made a clean and simple pet sympathy card. (Those are always so hard to make.)
First I stamped the pom onto a Tutti Designs dotted rectangle, then adhered it to a Darcie folder embossed in red.
I backed it all onto some black and left lots of white space and added no embellishments.
I hope you will play along!

Laurie, sympathy cards are alway so difficult, but this one is amazing! I love the pop of red and the embossing, too! WOW! I know the recipient will appreciate your thoughtfulness! CAS perfection! Have a wonderful week, My Friend!
Such a touching card, Laurie! Pet sympathy cards, like any sympathy card, are so difficult to make. With the loss we have had within the last two weeks, I know how much comfort the recipient will receive from this sweet card. They will treasure it, and if they are like me, it will be added to their fur baby's memory box. Thank you for making my challenge shine. Have a wonderful week!
I think this is absolutely the most difficult card to make so it's good to keep it simple. I like the red paw print embossed panel. The Pom looks so much like our friends' dog.
These are so good to have on hand, and this one is so pretty! Love that ef with the paw prints.
Laurie, that embossing folder is perfect for your card! Perfectly, clean, simple and cute! Have a great week!
That's a lovely stamp Laurie and I love the embossed border for a subtle added detail. Pet sympathy cards are so tough to make I agree; I had to make 2 this week too.
Beautiful blog
I really like the embossed paw print background. I think CAS is usually a good choice for any kind of sympathy card and this one looks great.
Aw, so cute....love that embossed panel behind your adorable little pup!
I love that you have a pom stamp! How stinking cute! I especially love that embossed paw-print background. Super cute!
